Lovely stay at the Sidney Waterfront Inn. Staff welcoming and very friendly. We had an ocean view room and it was fabulous. Hotel is convenient to town and has a scenic path right outside the doors. The complimentary bikes were great for a casual ride along the trail.

We had a great stay here in a comfortable room with a nice little balcony. The breakfast offered was a nice perk and a good way to start our day. Staff was great.

For 330$ and advertised “ocean view” i was shocked to have to look past the parking lot to see the ocean. The room was small and underwhelming. Complimentary breakfast was laughable. All in all I did not get my $$$ worth. An expensive disappointment that will not happen again.

I was charged too much by Expedia. It was advertised at $236.00 including all the taxes, yet when I paid, the bill came to $267.24 in which there was $30.75 worth of taxes added in. This is very dishonest. I will be inclined to never book with Expedia again unless they refund the difference to me.

Close to the airport.Quick and easy drop off of rental car & take taxi to BC Ferries.

Nice quiet clean and friendly

When pulling up to the property the exterior looked run down, the outside of hotel had the feel of a low cost motel. We stayed on the main floor facing a parking lot, the rooms are not fancy, and the photos used most definitely show the very best rooms but everything was spotless. Towels and sheets were clean, the floors were clean, not even a cobweb was found which is amazing close to the water. The front desk person at check in was not social at all, he was totally business and not the type who comes across as friendly. Lily however, who was work breakfast was lovely, she and all the other day time staff we met were friendly and helpful answering questions and providing suggestions. The AC units are showing their age, very noisy and not effective at all. Breakfast was good with good selection for a continental. All things considered you get what you pay for, the cleanliness made up for some of the other less ideal aspects and we would consider staying again

Enjoyed my time in Sidney

What a wonderful find the Sidney Waterfront Inn was. You can't beat the location, what with the harbour being just down the street. The staff could not have been more accommodating & the room was neat & tidy with a wonderful harbour view.

Good quiet spot. Breakfast lacks protein options and there is only two tables to sit at. Place is well maintained and clean, but could use some upgrades. No charging outlets next to the beds.

Sad that we did not get offered an upgrade or a room with a view. Coming from landlocked Edmonton it would have been nice to see the water- instead we had a view of the roof.

In the centre of Sidney with easy access to all shops and amenities. Seaside view was wonderful!

Loved the location of this property. The views from the room were superb. The room was clean and the breakfast provided was very good. Staff were helpful, answering any question we had. Definitely would recommend staying here.
