Location, cleanliness and the staff

Right across from the bus and train station was wonderful. Taxi to most places for 5 dm. Amazing poolside breakfast.

Splendida

The staff is exceedingly accommodating. I made the mistake of booking a flight out from Casablanca rather than Rabat. The staff took care of everything, booking an early taxi from Rabat to Casablanca. I made my flight with ease. In addition I had one of the best nights sleep I’ve had in a long time (even at home). A solid 10 hours missing the normal breakfast time, yet the accommodated me and provided a simple, but very satisfactory, breakfast. If you are in Rabat, definitely stay here.

Ended up with Legionnaires Disease from the pool water :(

Air conditioning is turned off until February. The hotel is dated and it is not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. This is definitely a 3 star hotel that was maybe once a 4 star. I don't think it provides value for money, the staff are nice but the level of service is not up to the standard of a 4 star hotel. The facilities were very dated and the hammam is only available with an extra charge. If you can get a good price and don't mind a 3 star hotel then I would recommend this. I was under the impression from the photos and descriptions that this property would be nicer.

Excellent service over all

This hotel was really good, the staff are very friendly and the breakfast is amazing. I really enjoyed staying here, location is good too.

We have often found it difficult to find a decent mid priced hotel in Marrakech. We are seasoned travelers in Morocco and have visited Marrakech many many times. Most of the Hotels we have stayed in are in desperate need of total renovation and the service can sometimes be pretty miserable. We were very pleasantly surprised with this, our first stay at Opera Plaza Hotel. The staff were all very kind and welcoming. And our room was just great. The hotel is in great condition and the breakfast was very good. One word of advice, always choose a pool facing room if street noise is an issue for you. The main streets right outfront of the hotel are very busy and noisy. We would definitely book again here. And if you have a train to catch, or a Supratours Bus to catch, both stations are right across the street.

Lovely hotel with pool and friendly helpful staff in a nice walkable area.with a decent breakfast on top. It’s a win win.

Friendly and helpful staff

Breakfast buffet was good with many choices (limited indoor seating). Internet was horrible, rooms on the street side are terribly noisy but thankfully we switched to a peaceful inside courtyard room without a fuss. The hammam spa isn’t worth it.

Outstanding!

Beautiful hotel. Very elegant. It has all the comforts but I did not feel like I was in Morocco.

It was good. The shower was bad. They need to completely cover the shower with the glass door. Water spurts out when the shower is taken. I had to spread the towel outside and it completely got soaked. Otherwise, the bathroom is excellent.

Good staff

The room was facing a VERY busy street. There was traffic and siren sounds well into the night. It was still extremely noisy at 4 a.m.!! Also, I booked a double room, but I got a room with 3 single beds. As I was only staying for one night, I did not request a change, but I had no idea the noise was going to be so awful. It was quite an unpleasant night. On the positive side, the breakfast was excellent and the people working at the hotel were very gracious, and the facilities seemed good although I had no time to use them. If you stay at this hotel, ask for a room away from the street.

Excellent breakfast and nice location, close.to both train station and bus station May not be suitable for families as it's a very busy and noisy junction and Traffic was heavy due to road works

Absolutely amazing 👏 the location and amenities around the the hotel were ideal. I have decided that i will definitely be staying here again next time in back in Marrakech.

We really enjoyed our stay at Opera Plaza Hotel. The food was great and the hotel is well maintained. It's also located near other restaurants, laundry services and convenience stores. We enjoyed our time here and will stay again if we're back in Marrakesh.

The first room we checked in it , the air condition was not working while it’s too hot outside , we had to change the room , and the staff was very helpful, I can mention Hasnia , she was amazing and attentive

We flew to Marrakesh for a family destination wedding - there were approx 140 of us, majority of which were staying at the Opera Plaza Hotel. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and very friendly; if you needed anything they would try their best to accommodate you. The pool is a very good size and kept well clean. Overall our stay at the hotel was great. A couple of negatives; the AC in the hotel itself and particularly in the rooms was not good at all. The breakfast was the same every morning. Although there was a variety of foods, it was the same food EVERY morning, and if you are staying more than a couple of days, having the same breakfast would get very boring.

Nice hotel, spacious room, good breakfast, nice and sympathetic staff.
