Location poor due to traffic noise at night
No Parking . The room was over looked by general public so had to keep curtains closed. Breakfast took a long time to come

First appearance was off putting, the building is old and in need of some 'curb appeal' and repainting. The room was very clean but very dark decor.

Great one night stay in one of the premium rooms. Gorgeous room in the eaves.

This was my families third stay at the Minster Arms and it went great. Hannah (manager) and Penny (asst manager) took wonderful care of our family. Great service! The food in the pub was also amazing. Very warm and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend the place!

arrived too the pub was ignored by the bar staff for a good five minutes not a hello or nothing. room hot water tap not working and very cold in the room carpets where stained and ripped and stains on the walls. shame as could be a lovely place with some minor adjustments

Lovely place to stay. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately the Expedia website is misleading - there is NO on site car parking. The only parking available is in Pay & Display car parks nearby.

Had to request my room to be changed due to unclean toilet - I won't give any details here, use your imagination. My room was changed, didn't have the same issue, but there is an overall feeling that the cleanliness not a priority. In addition, gappy timber sash windows did not filter out any noise whatsoever. I had the worst sleep for a long while - it felt like I slept in a tent in the middle of a roundabout. I'm not exaggerating.
Noise and lack of cleanliness makes it impossible to recommend this place. You've been warned - read the other reviews.
