Everything was perfect for 6 night stay. The only comment I have is that breakfast starts at 7 , this is the time when long day tours start as well. Hotel offers breakfast bag for the road , nevertheless 0630 start would be preferred. Also, selection of breakfast variety is limited, especially fruit fare.

The hotel is in the old city and an older style. I liked that it had a relaxing and comfortable feel. After staying in several hotels in Chiang Mai the room had to be up there for comfort. The best things were the bathroom shower worked well with two heads. It also had a bath. The room had lots of bench seating which is a plus when you get back at the end of the day. Plenty of room to place bags. Suitcase racks for two and a hanging ladder in the room which was great for airing. It had the usual wardrobe and things and mats inside the doors which was a plus for the time of year we went. It's location is only about 300 metre to the famous Chedi Luang and there is a selection of restaurants in the same area. Close to Sunday walking markets as well. Breakfast was modest but I don't have high requirements so it was adequate. For the price it's a definite consideration and I would go back again.

I greatly enjoyed my stay at Viangluang Resort! This hotel was located in a great spot within the gated of Chiang Mai and so everything was within walking distance. There were very cute restaurants and shops nearby as well! The staff were very pleasant and helped me with every inquiry I had in a timely manner. The accommodations were pristine and luxurious as well, I was very impressed with the property! I would recommend booking this property for your trip to Chiang Mai.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Nice facility, clean, comfy bed and pillows, nice staff, nice pool and a really good location in Chiang Mai Old Town. Easy walking distance to food, shopping and the main Temple. Breakfast is good. I was stay here again. If you looking for a soft bed then here it is.

It was a very cute and intimate property. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, and went the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. I would highly recommend this property!

This was a great place to stay in the old town district of Chang Mai. It was in a perfect location, immaculately clean, and had friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay. The pool was a welcome relief after you’ve been out and about, particularly given that we were there during an extreme heatwave (not a day under 40 degrees!). The room’s air conditioning worked really efficiently. The breakfast buffet had lots of choices, and if you are leaving before breakfast, they make a breakfast box to go. This is not a party hotel but a relaxing hotel close to everything old Chiang Mai has to offer. You are within walking distance of restaurants, massages, shopping, and the night market. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed for six days and enjoyed every Zen moment of it.

Overall, OK staff very friendly and helpful, bathroom could use an update, not very many plugs in the room, mattress very hard, and bed a little squeaky. Convenient location near our main road with lots of temples.

Lovely peaceful hotel in the very center of the points of interest. Breakfast is good but it is outdoors. To prevent mosquito bites on legs wear long pants or use mosquito repellent. Pool is lovely and wasn't crowded.

Only thing I did not like was that the floors were very slippery that I almost fell many times. I talked to reception about this and she says that they put in new floors everywhere. I had a good stay otherwise. Breakfast was good even with just a few selections. That was odd considering that this is supposed to be a resort. Nice workers though.
