I arrived, somewhat unusually, as a solo traveller, and chose the hotel for its location next to the Moselle. I like to walk, and the hotel afforded a good walk along the river, down to the main tourist attractions and the Altstadt.
The hotel architecture was absolutely fascinating, and for anyone who likes quirky, this is the place to stay. My room was spacious and comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. My poor German wasn't a problem! The breakfast on offer was very good, but perhaps you need a good appetite to fully appreciate it!

Room was.clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable. The only issue we had was with Air conditioning which was set on a timer and would have to be turned back on again about every 2 to 3 hours

The hotel looks interesting from the outside and when entering the lobby, but the rooms are spacious and very clean. We had dinner in the Biergarten, which was really nice. Both food and atmosphere were really good. The city center of Koblenz is within walking distance (around 20 minutes) and the walk is quite simple - just follow the path along the river! Although I’m not sure I’d enjoy walking that path in the dark.

A unique place with a quirky charme. Great food for breakfast as well as for dining. Lovely beergarden with live frogs in the pond. Ideally located for a stroll along the Mosel. Good grocery shopping locations within walking distance. Nice rooms, TV could be bigger.

Excellent breakfast, professional and friendly staff, good size room with comfortable bed, large restroom and responsive A/C controls, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants ... a pretty wonderful stay!

Slightly out of town, but a very pleasant 25 minute walk by the river. Great room, breakfast was busy but good choice. Some items though not replenished though. Overall very good!

Great little hotel in Koblenz, very convenient to visit other sites in the region (particularly castles). You can walk into town via the river path to get food in the evening (which we did when we stayed here). The parking lot is, interesting. Its basically a one way down and individual spots between large concrete pillars, you will want to back in for sure. They had adequate lighting though and there were plenty of spots when we went.

We love this Hotel close to the river, it is a pleasant 20 minute walk to town. even with the COVID-19 restrictions the hotel staff are friendly and everything from the room to brekfast was excellent. Highly recommend this hotwl$

We stayed at contel in Koblenz for one night just passing through. The staff was very friendly, rooms surprisingly big, easy to park in the huge parking basement and great breakfast with both gluten-free and vegan options. Pretty close to city center also. Overall would definitely recommend
