The hotel is well maintained. It is a 200-year-old building where you can experience the history of the place. The staff is kind and helpful. my room kit has a small detail with the bad smell coming out from the toilet or drainage. Apart from that everything is clean and tidy. I would certainly stay there if I go back to Tarsus

Very central location, great staff and super cool historical building with a medina. Drawbacks: beds are hard, and I was only given a very thin blanket. Had to sleep with clothes on, and woke up with a running nose. Would consider staying again, if the blanket-situation can be sorted.

Beautiful old hotel (family owned for 200 years, the man said). My only complaint is that it was very noisy at night due to nearby businesses working all night and rooms were not soundproofed. Otherwise, a great stay! The man recommended a local place with kebabs and Turkish pizza that was AMAZING.

Burhanoglu Hotel is a lovely restored historical building with a beautiful courtyard where you can have your breakfast outside in the fresh air (handy in Covid time). My room was comfortable though the furnishings are plain but I had a very pleasant stay. It is right in the centre of town. The staff were helpful and friendly. Thank you!

This hotel is a historic ottoman building that has been lovingly renovated and is furnished classically. We had no idea that it was such a beautiful property when we booked it. We booked it because of its' location near the birth home (exposed
archeological remains) & well of the apostle Paul for photos for a website. This area is one of the few areas we've seen in Turkey that has old stone buildings that have not been torn down. It is beautiful. We imagine it is an ideal place for people going on pilgrimage to stay, (Has steep stairs, & no elevator.)
