Booked for a day stay as leaving on late flight. Service was very nice and rooms were very clean. Only issue for foreigners would be no toilet paper is to be flushed so might be difficult for those that can’t use a bidet.

Rough start as waited 1.5 hours for transfer when Grab is cheaper. Breakfast is very good. Restaurant had good food and reasonable. Spa was great.

Spent 4 nights here when we first arrived in Vietnam. In general our stay was good. Great location, walking distance to all amenities etc. Bed was hard so I did not sleep well however my daughter slept without issue. Pool and jacuzzi was great as was the added foot massage, dinner and happy hour which made our stay good value. Breakfast buffet was the best of 3 main cities we visited. I however found the customer service variable, some staff were just lovely and friendly, others did not give off a warm feeling or would respond with “not my job” so not helpful. There was an awful smell in the lobby. I would stay here again as good value for money.

The room a little small

Hotel is at a very convenient, walkable everywhere. Staffs are super friendly and useful

Great spot! Very convenient for District 1 access. Comfortable, quiet room. While the rooftop bar a bit shabby, we discovered ones just steps away nearer the Spa that were great spots. Secluded one with lush greenery and another one that had great view of street action below!! Hotel spreads over different buildings incl the breakfast rooms! Great value for room which includes Happy Hour cocktail, one lunch or dinner coupon; terrific 30 min foot/leg massage and welcome juice! Overall great value for money!

It's a nice property, Indian restaurant across the street is awesome. However, spa features can be improved like steam baths.

Basically it is old. In particular, the toilet does not have a shower toilet. The free water is refilled in a bottle, so I am not sure if it is safe to drink. The check-out process is very slow. The front desk staff was busy serving customers and answered the phone, so we had to wait.

This has been the best hotel stay I have experienced and I have travelled to over 20 countries including 5 star all inclusive resorts in Mexico. The staff at the Alagon are polite, considerate and attentive. The rooms are clean and comfortable, I wake up rested every morning to enjoy my vacation. Bruno from guest services was especially helpful in me switching rooms. I originally booked for two nights and loved it here so much that I extended. The spa services are to die for I went for one massage and some how am now there every morning. If you’re coming to Saigon this is where you want to stay for comfort, location and warmth. We regretted only booking one night here. It was so good. I think it was thanks to the friendly and bright smiles of the front desk staff. Also, the massage service and cocktail bar service made our day wonderful. This is a place I definitely want to book again when I visit Ho Chi Minh again. Oh, but the water from the shower didn't come out well.

It was very comfortable and a very convenient location for tourists and business travelers alike. The staff was very courteous and prompt in the service. Overall highly recommend to all travelers to HCM city.
