Loved Hotel Helena! Location and view were wonderful! Staff were hospitable and kind. Definitely recommend. Great quality with price very worth it

This is the 2nd time in four years that I have stayed here. Both times were excellent experiences. Owners and staff have been extremely helpful in all questions and concerns. Views from room windows can be spectacular.

Me and my wife stayed at Helena Hotel during our visit to Chania. It was a great hotel which had a perfect location with everything within walking distance. Clean and tidy hotel with good sized rooms. Bedrooms with the Chania harbour view are amazing and beautiful. Staff who were a father and son team were excellent, extremely helpful, polite, welcoming, pleasant and accommodating who went the extra mile to assist us. I Would definitely stay at Helena Hotel again I would highly recommend Helena Hotel. Thank you for your kindness and assistant.

In a great location for exploring Chania, the harbour is less than a minutes walk, as is the town, but you wouldn't know it. The owner and his son were very friendly and gave us lots of good advice on where to visit and great restaurants to eat at. Thank you for making our stay so welcome. The room was cleaned every day with clean towels every other day. We had the first floor room without views, but were out all day and evening so this did not bother us.

Fabulous location, adorable hotel room. We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room had a view of the bay and waterfront area in Old Town. Bed was a little hard and I could hear some noise from outside in the distance.

No complaints about the hotel itself or the staff but for two out of three of the nights we stayed here there was incredibly loud music with a thumping bass coming from one of the bars across the harbour until 5 or 6am. This made it impossible to sleep and basically ruined our stay in what was a lovely hotel with a great view. When we complained to the staff they were very concerned but said they could do nothing about it.

Pleasant hotel in historic part ofChania, owned by the family for over 100 years. Well located in a quiet street just off the bustling heart of the city,so convenient for everything including a quiet siesta to restore energy levels.

Great little hotel in a lovely spot in Chania's Old Town. Bit tough to find (make sure to type the name of the hotel into your map app, the street address and postcode take you somewhere close by but not quite there!). Very reasonably priced, facilities at the basic end of things but a couple of the friendliest owners I've ever met. My only complaint is the in-room fridge was quite noisy when the compressor kicked in and out, but otherwise all good.

Our room was very basic - tiny shower, no safe available. Location was great though, and we had everything we needed and it was always clean. The owner and his son were wonderful people. We would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our staying in Chania. The staff was very nice and kind. The hotel is right in the heart of the old town. The room was clean and comfortable. Top!

The two days we spent in Helena Hotel in Xania were perfect because the hotel is in the old town. We left the car when we arrive to the city and we went back after the two days. Everything interesting in the old town is very very close to the hotel. Besides we followed the recommendations of the owner, who demonstrated being a good guide for the tourists who visited the city (gastronomy, sightseeing and so on). Thank you very much!
