My first time, but definitely not last at the citizen M! Everything was clean, quick, and efficient. I wish I got the chance to work out in the gym!

Dystopian… self check-in with a helper like at a grocery store’s self check out aisle.
The check-in staff were very helpful and friendly, so none of this is their fault. They are just hindered and stuck cleaning up annoyances that likely stem from the entire hands-off design of this place.
Lights, window, shades, and TV and heat all operate from a single iPad, which was disconnected from the room, causing confusion and needing to be hard reset by us…(first impression).
(Second impression) Low quality shampoo/body wash was poorly labeled and confusing because there were three slots, but only two dispensers, and the pump on this dispenser was broken… hard to believe they try to salves stuff in the lobby, because it feels like dish detergent on your skin and hair.
Stepped out of the shower to notice that the as yet unused toilet had been very well used by the previous resident and not cleaned.
We lightly complained about this and we immediately put into a new room, which was much better, The staff was apologetic and very helpful, so all was well… so overall the nighttime checkin staff was great but the experience of this particular room, the relatively dirty hallways, and the overall vibe of the place makes me say I would not stay here unless you only need to put your head down for a couple hours and if the rate is a max of $110.

The tablets provided in the room for controlling various systems were not only functional but also caused a noticeable slowdown in the entire room’s operations. Upon the arrival of the front desk to investigate the issue and reset the breaker, a half-hour wait was still insufficient to restore normalcy. Consequently, we politely requested to be relocated to another room, which was unfortunately denied.
It is noteworthy that the new Citizen M building exhibits significant differences from its predecessor located in the southern region. The beds in this new establishment are notably firmer and provide an overall uncomfortable sleeping experience compared to the previous one.

Citizen M went above and beyond in ensuring we had a great stay. They personalized the room with birthday wishes for my partner when I asked them to make it special upon arrival. The hotel had a very cool vibe in an authentic way not in a trying to be cool way which is hard to achieve these days. It was very easy to stay there with customizable controls in the room.

I expected a better breakfast with more variety based on the reviews. Also, you may get a vibe of the hotel is really conservative about their resources. For example, there is no coffee or tea in the room and also the rooms are really compact. There is no restroom (what you get is a shower and a toilet partition)

I was shocked when I saw the room. It was clean but tiny. Like a large closet with the bed at the far end and the bed was surrounded on 3 sides by the walls. Ive only seen tiny rooms like that in London.

If your tall or disabled the beds are hard to get in due no access to but one side. Had a guest to mees with the fire alarm in the middle of the night causing the fire alarm to activate we had to jump up and exit the hotel. I'm disabled and had hard time exiting and going down the staircase to a back alleyway.

Easy access to the space needle and downtown Seattle. Rooms were small, like dorm room small. It’s a capsule hotel so plan on living small while you’re there. House keeping has to be requested daily.

Its a great location, but it's a small smart space. You have to control the tv, blinds, lights with a tablet. i woke up to go to the bathroom and it was so dark i couldn't find the tablet. So i had to get to the bathroom inching down the hall. The bathroom is basically in the sleeping area. The staff is just very nice.

i was honestly impressed with this hotel, it wasn’t what i expected and not in a bad way! it was so easy to check in and out and the hotel was beautiful! it was close from a lot of the tourist things but not close enough to where you were overwhelmed with so many tourists! the only issue i guess was that the hotel was kind of smaller than expected but it was a great hotel overall!! there’s even an ipad that controls everything in the hotel room (lights, blinds, tv, etc)!!
