The hotel is very well located to downtown businesses and restaurants. It was clean and had nice ambiance. The bed was comfortable. I would stay here again.

Lovely area in historic area of Tucson. Unfortunately when checking in I was told I had already checked in. I asked how could that be? The front desk insisted someone was in our room. We were given another room because the other guest didn’t want to move out after the front desk asked him to. The other guest turned out to be our son who was getting ready for his wedding. Reservations were made separate so not sure how this happened. Due to this mix up we were 20 minutes late to the church. We will not be staying there again. Train your front desk staff properly so this doesn’t happen to other guests!

The Ownership displayed by the staff was excellent. That the Food & Beverage department did not have extra staff in the lounge after a Bonnie Riatt concert and U of A Football game was a huge miss. The 2 bartenders were working hard - BUT - calling last call with 32 patrons still having a good time? Big Fail. I spent 32 years in the business. Was a Sous Chef at the Reid Park Doubletree in 1986-87. There was a lot of money left on the table in revenue and tips. My advise, treat the outside venues like in house BEO's and schedule appropriately. PS - dump the itemized parking charge, it looks tacky. Ghost it into the room fee and reduce it to 12.00. It is a controllable expense that has already been paid for when you built the place.

I’m pretty sure the stay would have been a great experience. However, that wasn’t my experience this time around. I was told I could be accommodated over the phone for an early check in the night before. The following day of my check in I was told sorry. We almost never let anyone check in early. Which almost and never are totally possibilities. I just know the stay would’ve advised me to let my regional team know how great the stay was and of course a recommendation.

Nice property and very nice room. Staff were all wonderful. Location is not great with not much around it and far from downtown area. Lobby smelled like cigarette smoke at times so needs different designated smoking area.

All of the staff were kind and attentive. Food was good and the bar staff did an excellent job. I went to load my son into UofA and it was close enough in proximity to make it easy for us to get to his dorm.

The valet team was amazing-helping guests to get through the entrance, sharing ideas and just being friendly. The staff was responsive to any questions and it was a great trip!
