In our 2-night stay we had no contact with anyone else at the hotel, but could hear othwr guests a little from our room. Check-in was easy with guidance sent in advance, and the room was cleaned well during the day. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, although the common areas were unlit during the day so quite dark. A small amount of shampoo and shower gel was provided, and the room had a kettle. Street parking outside the hotel was free and plentiful (May bank holiday). The hotel is a short walk from the seafront, and a high street with many shops and places to eat.

Only slight disappointment was that the advertised fridge was not in the room; I was expecting this to keep drinks cold and for packed lunches. Check in was done online and very easy. Whilst this was quick and efficient it meant the personal touch was lacking and I did not see anyone else during my stay. Great location on the promenade with pubs, restaurants, and the station within walking distance.

Excellent value for money, cracking location and clean, spacious functional room. Excellent breakfast over the road at the Thatch at reasonable cost. All good.
