Enjoy a modern and upgraded one-bedroom basement apartment in Whitby, ON. The property is centrally located in Whitby, ON which is about 45 minutes from Downtown Toronto. It has access to public transport with a bus stop just outside the home. Whitby GO is about 8 minutes drive and there is Walmart/ No Frills and shopping centres in the radius of 5-7 minutes drive & Thermea Spa is about 8 minutes drive away.
The 75" HD TV, rain shower in bath are to unwind at home with a full kitchen including new stainless-steel appliances and separate washer dryer unit. Other features - Independent Work room with high speed internet & community garden beside the home with free parking.
The unit is completely private and independent. Has one separate bedroom with queen bed to sleep 2 persons while the living has a comfortable sofa bed to sleep minimum 1 adult ( Height not more than 5'5") or 2 kids. There is a separate small work/study room suitable to work from the place supported by high speed internet. The kitchen is well stocked with new stainless steel appliances.
Please note that being a basement unit, it will tend to be cool. There is no temperature control within the basement unit. Quite a few people like it cool however for those who prefer it warmer, we have provided one oil heater in the unit. Furthermore, you can choose to close the ceiling vents if you would prefer to make it warmer for yourselves. We also have extra comforters/ blankets for you to be comfortable and cosy.
This basement unit is newly built & inspected and approved per Town of Whitby quality and safety standards as a legal accessory unit. When constructing the unit, we used Roxul insulation, thicker drywall, sonopan sound proofing, noise resilience channels, etc. However, noise from the upstairs may be heard to a small extent. We stay in the upper part of the home.
There are security cameras and floodlights on the outside and access lane to the basement unit on the backside.
