La Gloria is the first place I stayed in Mexico. It is close to the bus station, mall, and many food options. The staff was so lovely & kind! The room was spacious and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay.

The size of the room was great. Shower had hot water. AC was working. Had utensils etc to make quick food. It’s good for a night stay. Restaurants around and right opposite had few good options. Parking is limited and first come first serve. Self check in option was easy. Close to Ado station and Isla Mujares Ultramar ferry.

The furniture needs renovating. Curtains need to block light. First hotel where no blankets provided on bed. We finally turned off the AC and used the sheets to cover ourselves as it was chilly at night. Toilet flush needs about 20 mins to refill the tank.

Not much natural light in the room and it’s next to the main road so it can get a little loud during the night.

They need fix the room door, small lizard were walking in and out....is not bad...but almost die....

It was very clean and spacious. We could leave our luggage early which was really great. Hot shower. The location is really good to go by foot to the centre and to take the bus (R 1, R2) to the beach and to the Ado bus terminal (the stop is like 3 minutes by foot - 5-15 minutes ride).

It says 24 hours reception which is not true. There is nobody there. We contacted the host several times from the beginning on in English and Spanish to know if we can leave our luggage there a few hours more the day of the checkout. No answer until it was too late… so we had to pay extra at the bus station to store our luggage for a few hours. Take a real hotel when you need this service. These ‘Airbnb’ hotels are not reliable at all. Be prepared, the room is very noisy, like really Highway noisy. The price to pay to be close to everything I guess. Also a comment for booking itself (nothing to do with the host), the taxes and fees included in the price are not clear. Note that after having clicked on pay, 50-100 additional pesos are added! (We had this issue every time payment was done by booking in Yucatan state)

The Internet did not work. There was ants, crawling all over. The pillows on the bed were horrible. some form of fake leather very uncomfortable. but the main problem was when running the AC. I would wake up with symptoms of a sinus infection, more or less because it’s blowing mold. I had a check out two days earlier than what I booked because I couldn’t take it any longer.

The place is noisy. As the building is in one of the main avenues and does not have the facilities to avoid noise it became a problem early in the morning. The smell was awful. Even though the host had made a mistake in typing numbers in the check out time, she did not let us stay a little longer.

Really easy check in process and very responsive host. The apartment was equipped with plates, mugs, cutlery for two people and there was also a coffee machine, microwave and a hob with some pans. There were nice touches with hand soap and shampoo and conditioner plus a hand towel as well as two bath towels. The aircon and fans were sufficient and the bed really comfortable so we slept well. The apartment itself is very safe.

As I said, the air conditioning worked but it is a little dated so didn’t work as well as it should have. Unfortunately for us, the WiFi wasn’t great, sometimes we could only get WhatsApp but nothing else on our phones would work which was strange. Gloria was quick to respond and looked into it as soon as she was home and it was working again but it cut out the next morning. As we told her, I’m sure it’s being looked into

Services are very good. My friend got sick so I asked them the medicine, and they gave me.

They have only soap and shampoo for amenity.

What you see is what you get. Communication ok Close to center.

Room too loudy just in front to a road highway. Impossible to sleep (even with "windows" closed or to stay calm on this room).
