Warth Barn is an outstanding barn conversion which has been lovingly restored to sleep ten guests. Traditional features have been enhanced with modern fittings to make Warth Barn a luxurious and comfortable place to stay. Surrounded by open countryside this property is in the middle of a row of three properties with its own very private paddock just a few metres from the property.
Approached down a private lane the setting is very quiet and peaceful yet within walking distance of the small, picturesque village of Ingleton. The ground floor starts with a large vestibule for coats and boots with an open plan sitting and dining room with leather sofas set around a stone fireplace with wood burner plus a large Smart TV, and a large oak dining table finishes off this room making it ideal for entertaining. A paved patio area with furniture is accessed from French doors in the living room. The kitchen has all the main appliances needed for the chef of the family to cook a hearty meal, there is also a utility room in the basement with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The first floor has three bedrooms plus the main family bathroom, the bedrooms consist of a twin bedroom, a double with a private shower and the master has a kingsize bedroom and en-suite shower room, the family bathroom has a beautiful freestanding bath with shower attachment. The second floor is the final bedroom with four single beds with an en-suite shower room.
Ingleton is a pretty town with narrow and winding streets, centred on a small market square. The village’s well-known White Scar Caves are open to the public and has a dazzling display of stalactites and stalagmites, caverns and a huge underground lake. Walk the famous Ingleton Waterfalls Trail which takes in some impressive cascades. The Dales countryside offers numerous walks and cycle routes, with the famous Three Peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent just a stone’s throw away.
A 20-minute drive will take you to Gisburn Forest which has superb mountain bike trails for all abilities and beautiful woodland walks as well. Perhaps more gentle relaxation is your thing then the Settle to Carlisle railway offers a journey through some of the most spectacular scenery our country has to offer. This is an excellent location from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales and within easy reach of the Lake District, the West Coast and the Trough of Bowland. Beach 20 miles. Pub and restaurant ½ mile.
