Welcome to our charming and cozy Cliffhanger Cottage in Shell Knob. Perched on steep cliffs with breathtaking views of Table Rock Lake, the Cliffhanger Cottage is a unique and comfortable bungalow-style cottage that provides a stress-free, relaxing vacation for our guests. Built in 1932, this cozy cottage is the perfect couples’ hideaway to enjoy the tranquility and scenery of Table Rock Lake. Just minutes away from Shell Knob and other nearby attractions like Silver Dollar City and all that Branson and Kimberling City have to offer--you can stay in or go out. The main level features one studio bedroom with a comfortable queen-sized bed, a well-equipped full bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo, and modern amenities like WiFi and A/C.
The fully stocked kitchen features all major appliances, cookware, and utensils necessary to prepare a gourmet meal that you can enjoy on the 500-square-foot deck with amazing views of Table Rock Lake. The family room and bedroom are both equipped with Smart TVs for your entertainment and streaming services. The outdoor space features a wooded area with towering cedar and pine trees and a covered hot tub to soak away your worries while enjoying the gorgeous sunsets over the lake or the night sky, perfect for stargazing with that special someone.

Cottage was perfection! All the necessities were provided, it was very clean, bed was comfy, and all the small added touches made our stay that much more special.

This place was absolutely breathtaking! We loved the views from the deck and hot tub area! The little cave (screened in porch area) was absolutely peaceful and serene! Visited Eureka Springs, AR and shopped their historical downtown area by trolley. Also went to Eureka Springs drive-thru safari! The deck was our spot for dinners after cooking on the grill! We visited The Steak Inn for dinner one evening and their food was amazing! We look forward to coming back again and again!!!

This cottage is a treasure! If you are a high tech person or enjoy a more "bougee" lifestyle this isn't for you! But it is a peaceful, cozy , step back in time kinda place!!! Beautiful views of the lake 24/7! Perfect for 2 ppl! Love this place and will stay here again!!

The cottage itself was lovely, secluded and very relaxing. During our stay, we decided that we needed to use some dishes and the extra comforter/sheet that was provided in the dresser. Once we departed the cottage we received an additional cleaning fee for leaving (cleaned) dishes drying on the counter and for using the extra comforter. I am sure you will enjoy staying here just be sure to leave the cottage spotless and don't use any of the additional linens.

We loved how it felt secluded by the water. The view by the water was wonderful. We enjoyed that you could sit in the hot tub and watch the boats go by. We found a great restaurant down by the water called the Seaside they had the best bacon wrapped shrimp. It was also very nice that you had a cabinet that had spices that could be used.

Overall,, everything we could have wanted. If I had one complaint, ot would be that the trees were trimmed for a better view from the hot tub and enclosed porch area. Overall though, I would definitely book with them again.

A cozy cottage was the perfect place to spend a cool rainy weekend. The view is beautiful and breakfast on the deck was a wonderful way to begin the day.

We love this place but we will not return after 4 years of going there. Big storm overnight knocked out the power and by extension the water service. Not to mention the hail that tore up my car....not the owners problem. However, the host was not sympathetic and told me that they do not give refunds because too many people cancel their reservation at the last minute. We did not cancel but the house did cancel on us. Still a refund was not an option. All I asked for was a refund for the day we could not stay. 6:30 am and know where to use the bathroom. but we are responsible. The owners words of wisdom were...I doubt you would have stayed there all day. None of her business or concern. Again we love the place...but watch out if you need a "legitimate" refund. We will not be back.

You will find this Cozy Cottage with plenty of space to rest and relax. Wake up to a beautiful sunrise out the full front floor to ceiling windows, and relax in the evenings listening to birds from the many deck areas or hot tub. Dogwood Canyon is a great nature attraction within 30 minute drive. Great WiFi with large TV, full sized fridge, and great communication from the Host. Our stay at Cliffhanger Cottage was a wonderful retreat from the business of life. The cottage was clean and well furnished, with everything you need for a cozy getaway. The hot tub with its view of Table Rock Lake was a highlight. Owners were prompt, welcoming, and communicative. We will be visiting again.

We booked our stay in February. The host was super helpful in adding on a day when we made a mistake during booking and allowing us to check in early.
The cottage was cozy, and we loved the light brought in through all the windows. The large deck and screened-in patios were great to look out on the lake. And to wake up in bed and open the windows to see the sunrise was really nice. The host provided lots of movies, blankets, popcorn, bathroom essentials, and kitchenware and spices to make it feel like a home away from home.
The only thing that may be difficult to navigate for tall guests or those with mobility issues is the staircase leading down to a room to exit out to the screened-in patio that reminded us of a hobbit house--but you can walk out through the front door to access it if you are quite tall or have some mobility issues.
We felt the place was relaxing and had everything we needed and wanted. I wish we could have stayed longer! I would highly recommend it for all seasons!

We booked this as a last minute one nighter getaway. It was everything I had hoped for. So sweet and well decorated, on the lake, stocked with charm (and movies). We loved the windows the porch the hot tub the quaint but well appointed kitchen and the bed was comfy. Ample sized bathroom and hosts were responsive and friendly.

The Cliffhanger is a practically perfect retreat house for one or two. We were visiting family who live at the lake, so proximity to the boat dock was a big plus. I enjoyed several hours on the deck at daybreak, watching the wildlife and enjoying the beauty of the lake. Great stay!
