Location was excellent Clean and comfortable bed

Although cute and quirky, the room and facilities including bathroom, paintwork and floorboards are very dated and in need of upgrading. The 'retro' feel of the apartment extended to no WiFi or streaming; which we feel is pretty disappointing for this price bracket. There was also a miscommunication about supply of fresh towels which inconvenienced us.

The surrounding areas.

Arriving to a freezing cold apartment, having to go out in the rain to source firewood as there was not enough supply inside to initially start the fire. Arrived around 7pm in pouring rain to no lighting to find apartment, very slippery and large step not visible in the dark, solar lighting not working. Air-conditioning instructions weren't clear, so we froze for the first night. Followed instructions, it was stated that unit was already set on heating and to just turn it on, in which we did to only have cold air blowing all night. Outdoor BBQ area light didn't work, bedroom light didn't work, stereo didn't work, once heating worked it rattled and clunked every time it cut in. Could hear guests/chair movements from above unit.

the location is ideal and the fire was fantastic the place to stay and relax on a winter weekend

Beautiful large cottage full of fascinating ornaments. Excellent location. Close to the beach and Marina. Very comfortable bed. Very clean. Nice bathroom. Just like home. A lovely feel about it. Charming!! We would come back again.

Not soundproof. We could hear the doors closing and people walking around in the other apartment in the house. No Netflix. Also, a few small packets of biscuits could have been supplied.

The place was just what we expected.

The ironing board was pretty small and I needed to press some wedding clothes. It was difficult to do it.

beautiful area, not far from Dutchies Beach. a nice walk to the Marina for either a morning walk and breakfast, or lunch.

Cinderella slipper is not the best for more advanced aged people. staircase is narrow and very twisty. either of the two lower apartments would be more suitable. Building has recently been damaged by rain and storms which gave it a musty smell. Air conditioner needs a good clean as there is mould on the flap which is evident when switched on. Not exactly what we were expecting from the description.

Fantastic decor & comfy bed

Floorboards and furniture upstairs was a bit noisy.

The location was great. Not too far from beach, nature trail, shops, restaurants. The bathroom was roomy, with good water pressure. The bed and pillows were obviously newer and made for a good sleep. Having the Balcony was a great feature.

We pulled up and it said Wisteria Cottage, not the listing name. the interior was clean but the decor was confusing-a mix of 80s, Chabby- chic, bachelor pad and old Aunt Edna’s. The lounge and outdoor furniture was very uncomfortable. we were there on a windy night and the doors to balcony banged in the wind, even with all the locks secured. There was no clear checkout process so we just left the key on the coffee table with the door unlocked.

Location was fantastic. Close and easy access to Dutchman's beach. Easy walk to Nelson bay. All beds were super comfortable, good water pressure in bathroom, very good air conditioning and good servicing of towels and garbage.

The driveway should be extended across the footpath but it made very little difference to us.

good size Spa bath, open Fire was lovely, Bed was Comfortable, and the property was Clean, and we liked the position close to everything.

The TV reception was terrible, could do with having Foxtel, the lighter to light the Fire was out of Gas, and the paper to light the fire was not good for lighting a fire.

We chose to go there!

No covid outbreak in Sydney!!

The bed pillows were too hard for us. Maybe a choice of pillows would be a good idea.
