Pleasant welcome at the reception. We cycled around Lac Leman and had an overnight stay here. WE were offered the use of a lockable room to park our bicycles. The room was very clean and well equipped. The breakfast (13 euros extra pp) was amazing and worth the extra cost. There is a private beach just across the road, with amazing views of the lake.

To reach the beach you have to cross the road.

An incredible location boasting views over the lake towards the Swiss side of Lake Geneva. Driving there isn’t difficult - it’s almost a straight road out of Geneva. The room was plenty big enough, with its own relatively private balcony/terrace type affair. Air conditioning was a God send. Though the room might be advertised as ‘lake view’ it may be that the room actually faces the mountains, with one window on the side giving a view of some of the lake (hardly an issue). The reality is there is an amazing private beach across the road which is where we spent most of our time.

Breakfast was a little lacklustre and there was no hot food available. I might be pedantic but the bread was rock hard. We needed towels from the concierge (advertised as being there until 9) but left just after 8pm.

Breakfast was extra €13/ person continental buffet, cold meats, cheeses, patisseries, cereals, coffee & tea, fresh fruit, excellent jams, all enjoyed on the terrace overlooking lake Geneva/ Leman. Across the road and down a few steps there is a private pebble beach ideal for a morning swim.

The hotel is a few kilometres from Saint Gingolph, in a little hamlet called Bret. It’s on the main road to Evian so there is a little bit of traffic. There is parking opposite the hotel but getting in & out is not so easy with the traffic. The hotel has no restaurant so you have to drive somewhere to eat

Everything was super (beautiful lake, atmosphere, nice room, friendly staff, quiet, cleanliness) and we will be glad to come back.

We have stayed here 5 or 6 times before, so we obviously like it. Excellent lake edge location. I would advise to choose a room with lake view balcony which is excellent. Every time we go you can see the owners have made efforts to make the hotel even better.

Nothing regarding staff and hotel, but you will need a car as the hotel - despite fantastic location at the lake side with small private beach - demands a car to go to dinner, shopping etc.

We liked our stay at this hotel for several reasons: it's very modern, clean, and nice; air-conditioned; great view of the lake (with a cute balcony to make the most of it); breakfast is great and worth its price; the private beach is very cute and a lot of fun; parking is in front of the hotel (a tad scary but okay); the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is right on a pretty main road, but it wasn't noisy for us as we slept with the balcony door shut and AC on.

The beach could be a bit cleaner and have shaded areas; Parking could feel safer if there would be some taller and stronger rails (there is something in place but it's pretty small); wifi quality was poor in our room, possibly because of the double door. Just be aware that the location (which is very clearly stated here so should not be a surprise) means there's essentially nothing within walking distance, but approx 15 min drive to Evian (plenty of dining options) and 5 min drive to another nearby small town with some options.

Great view! Well connected to Evian and Montreux so you can enjoy the best of both countries. Staff, though limited, was prompt in offering assistance and welcoming. All our requests were taken care of. Overall a great experience!

Breakfast was disappointing. Especially for the price charged. Elevator in the facility would help the staff and guests.

Location is the best and breathtaking view of the lake, breakfast is continental, room is comfy and lake view. MARIE the lady who look after us was brilliant and very helpful.
