Pool & close to the beach, food and mostly activities around Flic en Flac

We had a very pleasant stay, let’s be clear on that. but there were only 2 things that wasn’t making it easier for us. 1: The airconditioning: the airco is on the side of the bed with his blowing direction: the bed. It works at a standard speed & temperature so it wasn’t possible at all to set temperature and/or timer. It’s either on or off. During the eveing when it was on, it was ok but during the night was a big issue for us. It either was very hot or very cold in the room then with no way to adapt. 2: Breakfast: it was toast, croissant, hard boiled egg, jam, Kiri(cream cheese) yoghurt and fruit everyday. With no option to change this up, after 8 days, it would have been nice to have had a bit more variety in the breakfast. It’s good for 2-4 days max. A bit more options to choose from like a slice of cheese or some granola and a scrambled egg, it would have made all the difference for us.

Location is good, it was clean, garden was great, and rooftop as well. It is quet place

I was waiting several days to compare with other accomodation with the same prace, and they should improve breakfast(put some eggs, or something else). One day they even did not have milk for coffee. When You arrive You get a lot of rules on paper, which I had never had enywhere, and You feel a little uncomfortable, and on the other side they have cat who is mischievoud, and do not take cat if someone does not like that. Anyway, villa is good and clean, but hospitality is under question, except italian women

The room was really clean, the rooftop terrace is nice to sit in the evening (just the music was from my point of view a bit annoying as it could be quiter). The location of villa was good. We appreciated the staff hospitality.

Breakfast was just a plate of fruite, one small piece of toast and croissant + little bit of butter and jam. As we prefer “balanced” diet, we missed a lot more proteins (ham, cheese, eggs etc.), fats and vegetables. There is no need of much effort to get it to higher level. On the other hand - we appreciated coffee from french press.

Very nice and familiar guesthouse, very clean and well located. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. I can highly recommend!

The staff was very nice and friendly they clean the room daily and every 3 days they change the sheets and the towels. Breakfast was good and vegeterian. . it was nice with fruits toast croissants homemade gem and coffee and tea. Only boiled eggs , not everyday. But it is enough and you can also ask for more toast for example if it is too less. the pool and the garden is very nice during very hot noons or rainy days. the Deck Terrasse is also very nice to spend the afternoons, with boardgames.

the breakfast was vegeterian which somedays we would prefer some omlet and meat especially whenstaying so long The worst disadvantage was that it is not allowed to eat nowhere take out in the property or around because it will attract ants. so we were forced to eat always outside, the restaurants nearby weren’t good. Also the good spot beach is like about 20 min walk, so it is not close 5 min as everyone say. You can reach the beach in 5 min by foot but it is not a nice place to swim , a lot of boats and stones in the water.

The location of the Villa is superb. It is just a quick walk away from the main beach and also in the evening, you have all the main restaurants at the road that is from Villa and to the beach.

We had the room 10 (specifically pointing it out) and as it was comfortable and clean all the time, the location of the room was terrible. We heard everyone walking pass by and the doors that are used to go to the street were very squeaking and people will just closing it aggressively. All in all everything was fine, but the location of the room is really unlucky and not a good value for money. We just felt, that this room just wasn't okay, despite the budge room we had.

The staff was super friendly. The location is The Best, 5 minutes by walk to Beach, 7-10m by walk to Jumbo (careffour) hipermarket. Flic en Flac is The Best location in The island (as we stayed on east and north as well) and villa osumare was the best place to stay not only because of location and low price, but the delicious breakfast. In the spacious room we found hairdryer, fridge, clean bathroom. The staff was helpful, the swimming pool was clean and nicely looking. At the top of the building there I a big terrace with nice view. We had car park place in the closed territory.

Very nice host Avi and his wife. Also the staff. They took very good care of us during our stay. Its a very beautiful guest house , right next to the Flic and Flac beach. The rooms were very spacious and clean and cosy. Breakfast served was continental with tropical fruits and fresh home made Jams.

Not many facilities. It would have been nice to have a kitchenette in the room.

Exactly what I needed! A quiet, clean and homely environment very close to beach and the social life. Very nicely welcomed on arrival and given tips on what to do, where to go and how to go there if needed. Some recommendations tried and approved! Room was very clean and very spacious (incl. bathroom). Varied choice of seating/relaxation spots when at home. Rooftop was particularly great. Great value for money! 😊

The couple made me feel at home and the accessibility is great! Great value for property on the beach! Very clean I must say!!!

The pool is a bit small.

We had a great experience here. Owners and staff were really nice, advising us for our trips and always willing to help. Also the whole Villa is really clean and has nice homy athmosphere. Would 100% recommend.

Nothing to complain about.

Affordable, great location. Breakfast was also nice. Cleanness was great, you can feel the cleanness smell in your room.

There were a couple dogs tried to catch us by running behind our scooter. It was little bit scary however other than that we had no issues.

The owners are really nice and they helped us arrange our day trip to 7 cascades. The rooms are well equipped and clean. There is a very nice garden with terrace and swimming pool. The breakfast is good (croissant, fruits, yoghurt), just make sure to come between 7:30 and 9:30.

Nothing the hosts could influence, but the street to the mainroad can be a bit dark in the evening with few rather not friendly dogs. Also the big tree in the garden is full of bats, which is interesting, but cover your head when walking below and try not to park right under:)

First of all, thank you Abi for your outstanding hospitality. You are an exceptionally pleasant human being, great host and fun conversationalist. The same goes of course for you family. The place is everything you need and want. All your needs are met, the rooms are very simple but comfy and the facilities are well taken care of, the garden really inviting. Simply a great place to hang and enjoy a good read at/in the pool. The breakfast on the terrace was also plenty and a perfect start into the day. For more advice on where to have great food, simply ask Abi. Money-wise I would say you get what you pay for - and a little extra ;-) It's no 5*-hotel, of course, but what really makes the place stand out are the hosts. We booked for 3 nights and ended up staying there for 7 nights because we liked it so much (and of course due to the very intense cyclone 'Batsirai'). Since during the cyclone there was no place to go to, stores and restaurants being closed, and the storm approaching its peak intensity, Abi and his family went out of their way to prepare a lovely lunch and a delicious dinner for all of the guests, which led to a very entertaining and convivial get-together. Thank you so much, again. All in all, I'd say: we'll be back ;-) p.s. should you ever come to Germany or close by, give me a call!

Good size room with a large fridge. Nice little pool. Owners kindly lent us some towels and we're informative about where to go and where not to go.

The bed was hard and the room and shower rather dated. It would have been nice to have maybe some tea and coffee in our room as there was a kettle .

Nice villa near beach, good choice of restaurants nearby. The host took care of us when there was a cyclone(made lunch and dinner for us), so we really appreciated it.

The rule that you cannot wash your clothes seemed a bit odd, but you could use the washing machine for quite a good price, so it does not seem to be a problem.

Honestly nothing

Very nice host (we had some very nice chats, he gave us tips about restaurants, what to do in the area, asked us about our whole trip on Mauritius), good AC, nice garden, fan in the room, very cold fridge, spacious shower, nice rooftop.

Breakfast was the same every day (either croissant or toast, yoghurt, fruits and tea or coffee).
