Mysigt litet ställe med trevlig och välkomnande personal. Vi följde med på en kvällspromenad och såg en fantastisk solnedgång. De ordnar även utflykter men det var inget vi använde oss av. God mat!

First and foremost, we thoroughly enjoyed the exceptional service provided by the proprietor of the establishment, Chandana, and his colleague, also named Chandana, who drives a tuk-tuk and offered general assistance throughout our stay. Our care began even before arriving at the place when Chandana arranged a complimentary transfer from the Dambulla bus stop. They also organised fantastic trips to the upper part of the Dambulla Cave Monastery and the Lion Rock in Sigiriya. Chandana, the tuk-tuk driver, was a wonderful companion, sharing insightful, non-generic knowledge about the area and the everyday life of its residents. Despite the modest cost of our stay, all meals were of high quality, and the atmosphere created by Chandana and the team was jovial. They even organised short walks to a scenic rock spot for sunset views over the jungle and Sigiriya rock in the distance, a thoughtful touch allowing guests to share a great view and engage in friendly conversation. The room exceeded expectations for the price, with the AC in perfect working order and a very comfortable bed. In summary, the concierge-level service, the location, and the half-board high-quality meals collectively made our stay truly exceptional. I highly recommend this place for solo, couple, and family travellers visiting Dambulla and Sigiriya.

The bathroom could have been slightly cleaner; upon moving in, we discovered it was wet, lacked hand soap, and had a leftover toilet paper roll. Additionally, the ceiling fan appeared worn out, making a rattling noise even at the lowest speed, making it impractical for use during the night.

Veeeery nice place with such an amazing host & very friendly staff! The food (breakfast & dinner) is sooo tasty! Another plus is the big pool (: Whatever help you need, the host will arrange trips with the best price for you, either with his tuktuk man or via car (: One of the best places we've been in Sri Lanka & it's our second time in this beautiful country! It was a great fortune to stay in this hotel. The staff and owner are very kind and professional, they make you feel at home. We ate every meal here and they were delicious!! Special thanks to Chandana, with his tuk Tuk he made us have fun and see many places, some non-touristy and a fantastic sunset. He is truly a guarantee, he did much more than what a driver does, he was truly a friend!!

Great stay!! The rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was brilliant! The host was very warm and friendly, helped us plan our entire day!!! We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad hier. De eigenaar is wat dit hotel fantastisch maakt: hij is gastvrij en behulpzaam en bereid om alles voor je te regelen. Zo regelde hij voor ons een super leuke tour en vervoer. Het eten was daarnaast heerlijk. De locatie is iets uit het centrum, maar juist vlakbij Cave Temple en Golden Temple dus wat ons betreft juist fijn. Daarnaast kregen we toen we aankwamen een gratis pick up bij de bushalte.

La struttura è pulita e carina con la piscina ottima per un bagno a fine giornata. Il cibo è cucinato da loro ed è squisito! Il proprietario è una persona stupenda, abbiamo fatto due giorni di tour ben organizzati e molto interessanti direttamente con lui. Merita andare anche solo per il proprietario e lo staff!

One of our favourite spots in Sri Lanka. Chan was so helpful. He made us feel very welcome. A bug highlight was Chan taking us for a short walk up the big rock near the property for sunset, something only his guests get to experience. The food was great and authentic Sri Lankan, we had the biggest breakfast after our sunrise hike of Pidurangala and Sigirya. They organised our tuktuk driver for this and he was excellent. Showed us great hidden spots for pictures. The pool was really nice, we stayed an extra night after our sunrise hike to chill by the pool when we were tired. Chan also provided transport to Kandy after our stay.

Furnishings/accessories could be updated as some things were run down, but overall it was really clean so that’s most important.

Chandana is amazing - he goes out of his way to make sure his guests have a wonderful time! We wanted to go to Sigiriya and Minneriya on the same day and he arranged everything for us. He recommended Kaudulla rather than Minneriya as he said there were more elephants there at the moment, and we trusted him. We had a lovely driver for the whole day and were joined by an amazing guide in Kaudulla. We saw more than 60 elephants up close as well as so many birds (fish eagles, kites, hornbills etc), monkeys, a couple of shy mongooses and more. Chandana also arranged a wonderful breakfast at 6am for us - it was a perfect day! The food was great the whole time (we’re vegan), the pool was lovely and the service was amazing from collecting us from our bus to helping us flag down our next bus to Kandy. I highly recommend staying at Sevonrich - it was stress free and a wonderful experience!

That was a fantastic stay. The manager and his wife very welcoming people. We felt at home here. Very nice and clean swimming pool. Fantastic cuisine, one of best we had in SriLanka. Highly recommended!

The staff was amazing! We visited Dambulla with the tuktuk for free and we were taken to a viewpoint for the sunset close to the hotel. We went to Polonnaruwa and Sigiriya by tuktuk for 16k and even saw an elephant on the side of the road. Food was amazing as well, expecially the dhal! Perfectly located, we took the bus on the main road to Kandy (2 hours and 270 rupees/person). The swimming pool was the icing on the cake after a long day under the sun :)

Love the staff. Chadana took us a wonderful evening walk to the nearby rock for nice sunset! Highly Recommend

The owner was willing to help us organize transport and things to do. Nice walk on arrival to a nearby rock with a great view and great to be offered a cuppa on arrival! Filling breakfast (included) and the best evening meals - honestly, we ate here most nights! Spacious room & bathroom with a lockable drawer Very close to the temple and a short tuk tuk ride to the town. Nice pool for relaxing, quiet on an evening. Loved the pet dogs and cats here too! Would recommend at this price point!

The main improvement could be to upgrade the soft furnishings ( towels, pillowcases and sun lounger cushions) but this didn’t have a huge impact on our stay.

Good location close to Dambulla Caves and golden Buddha, but set away form the main road so it was quite peaceful apart from dogs barking at night (which you get everywhere in Sri Lanka). The owner was very friendly and fixed yours for us and drove us to Nuwara Eliya. We had the best meal we’ve had in Sri Lanka at the guesthouse one evening. Swimming pool was nice and clean.

Bathroom was a bit tired and didn’t smell great but that’s fairly typical for SL with a combined shower and toilet where the floor gets wet. The owner was so friendly and helpful though that it more than made up for it.

The whole place is so nice. We arrived in the evening, they were already expecting us, all smily and welcoming. The pool was something we couldn't wait for after so many hours of traveling. While in the pool, there were monkeys above us in the trees :) The room was spacious and the beds were very comfy. The owner (I'm sorry I couldn't remember the whole name but we used 'Chan' for short) is such an amazing, friendly, funny guy, who seems to know everyone everywhere :) We only stayed one night but few days after we connected again and he helped us to arrange an amazing day trip to Sigiria, Pidurangala and Minneriya park and showed us more than that. He basically spent the whole day with us and drove us around. We will never forget this amazing day and you, Chan :) Breakfast was delicious, honestly the best we had during our stay in Sri Lanka. The 'leaf syrup' drink (soup like) was so good! If we're evern coming to Dambula again, we'll stay here for sure :)

Some places you stay and it's just a place to stay, and some places add a little magic to your adventure. Sevonich Hotel Resort was one of these places that add a little magic. The owners were helpful with activities and travel plans. But my favourite was Chandana. He's soft spoken and funny. He has been with the hotel for 11 years. He's a great cook, tour guide and driver. Thank you for the amazing stay.

everything, the family are super accommodating and always making sure that you have everything you need. The biggest surprise was the incredible sunset place that is walking distance from them, an absolute gem!

This place is perfect for those looking for a comfortable room in an accommodation with swimming pool within good distance of Dambulla temple, Lion Rock etc. The pool is great to cool off after a day sightseeing and has cold dinks/beers on hand for an evening drink. Really friendly staff and very helpful owner who offers free pick up and drop off. Great breakfasts and excellent evening meals. Everything was made super easy by using the services of the tuk tuk driver, that works together with the house. A nice man who took us to Sigiriya, Dambulla Cave Temples with various stops we wouldn't have seen otherwise and at very fair rates. Explained us a lot. The hill near the hotel shows a beautiful sunset.
