The shower needed fixing and there were no handrails on the bathe to assist older customers.

Had difficulty understanding the explanation of how to get into accommodation, needed staff to help.

The location is great with a lovely view from the balcony where we enjoyed our breakfast that was delicious and served at an appropriate time. The room was very clean. Bathroom was great with really nice towels and robes. Next time I will definitely have a bath with the window open to enjoy the view!

The property and location is lovely. Mark the owner however will take absolutely no responsibility when your property from your locked room goes missing. We had two bags of groceries containing other items also removed by the cleaners while we were out. When we returned, we found the bags missing. my partner contacted the owner, Mark who was away. He advised it was not his responsibility that the bags had been removed and that this would not happen and that his cleaners would not do this. We told him this was not good enough and his attitude was very poor. He advised us that he would “ponder” the issue. We then went upstairs and spoke to a young girl who was caretaking the property while Mark the owner was away. She was very helpful. We then went through the bins within the grounds without any success. Later the two bags of groceries with other personal items were located by the young girl in a separate wheelie bin and returned to us. Mistakes happen and I am an optimistic person who tries to see the best in everyone and hope that it was a genuine error on the part of the cleaners who removed two full bags of groceries. However, the attitude of Mark the owner who made my partner feel that we were lying about what had been taken made us feel incredibly disappointed. iHe took absolutely no responsibility for our property being removed from a locked unit by the cleaners raised lots of questions about the security and if you loose something, he doesn’t even ring back to check or to apologies that it was their mistake that his cleaners did in fact remove the property. Thats the most disappointing thing. We are honest hard working people and are very fair but the attitude and treatment by Mark the owner would certainly make me believe that he takes no responsibility for your property in the units nor cares about what happened even though it was clearly their fault and responsibility. Disappointing Mark. Hence I have rated your stay “Disappointing”!
