Great house right on the Camino Santiago. Excellent shower and beds- perfect for a little splurge if you’re walking the Camino!

This gem right on the Camino is a night of luxury and beauty. The room was exquisite as were all the common living spaces. The staff were warm, welcoming and very professional. This stay was a treat in every way!! It’s family owned and the care shows!!

Gloomy, no tea/ coffee in room, breakfast was poor and couldn’t make basic drinks, bathroom very dated but shower worked fine.

Beautiful, comfortable room, however I had booked a twin room 6 months in advance only to be told there was not one available when we arrived, only after I insisted on a twin room did he do me a favour and make one available. I was looking forward to a swim only to find out when we arrived that the pool was closed.

No restaurant and pool closed.

quite classy finish. only 16 rooms so not busy and plenty of areas to relax in whatever the season. nice bar and pool area. lovely Spanish style breakfast. fresh fruit, toast tomato, revuelto and jamon all great. sweet cakes also very Spanish.

we were there in august and rooms on the top floor were very hot and the poor standup fan did not do much. we had come from an area in Andalusia which was high mosquito so but there were very few of any here so when we realised we could open the windows and let the cool night air in all was fine. pool was shaded and cold until afternoon. such a shame you can’t get any food or even a coffee at the property after breakfast. a few simple tapas would be perfect.

Maria in the breakfast room was lovely and so funny. She made our breakfast experience really special. Very friendly and helpful staff in the reception.

An exceptional hotel located in a 17th century palace. Luxuriously appointed throughout all the rooms and common areas. My room was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was quite large. The staff was outstanding and went out of their way to help. Highly recommended!

This beautiful space surpassed any paradour that I stayed at on the Camino. It is in the sleepy town of Azofra but it is so stunning that it makes for sheer perfection and rest!

it was so gorgeous! a perfect ending to our week on the camino! it was incredibly beautiful and lush - we upgraded to a spa room totally worth it! this property has quite a history! same family for over 400 years. very accommodating and helpful staff
