Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Dachterrasse, Pool und das Meer in unmittelbarer Nähe sind ein Traum. Die Kommunikation mit Lola ist sympathisch, schnell und unkompliziert. Wir kommen wieder.

Super Lage, leider nicht sehr sauber. Vermieterin sehr hilfsbereit.

The apartment is superb and made even better by the upstairs patio which is secluded and basks in all day sun. We went mid November and had a fantastic sunny week eating out in all the wonderful restaurants in the vicinity.

Wir haben in dem Apartment eine sehr schöne und entspannte Zeit verbracht. Es ist sehr geräumig und super ausgestattet. Es verfügt über einen großen Balkon und eine riesen Terrasse auf dem Dach. Bis zum Strand sind es 5 Minuten zu Fuß und nebenan befindet sich ein Supermarkt und kleinere Geschäfte. Der Ort El Cotillo ist wunderschön und wir waren nun schon das vierte Mal als Familie hier im Urlaub. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und die Kommunikation mit ihr hat reibungslos geklappt, wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

A lovely apartment with everything you could want.

This is a lovely apartment in a great location within El Cotillo. There is an amazing view of the sea and also of the pool on the other side of the building. Everything was very clean and well equipped. You'll be guaranteed a good night's sleep as the area is quiet at night. The check in process and communication with the owner were great. We had a great holiday and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Die Casa Gaia ist in einem schönen Apartment-Komplex etwa 300m vom Strand entfernt. Vom Wohn-/Esszimmer aus hat man einen tollen Blick aufs Meer. Von den beiden Schlafzimmern aus kommt man auf den Balkon der auf den Innenhof mit Pool gerichtet ist. Ein Stockwerk höher befindet sich außerdem eine Dachterrasse von der man einem schönen Panoramablick hat. Das Apartment ist gut ausgestattet und ein kleiner Supermarkt ist ebenfalls nur ca. 300m entfernt. Auch einige Restaurants, Cafes und Bäcker sind schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Zum Zentrum mit Hafen von El Cotillo ist es ein 15 Minuten Spaziergang. Das Organisatorische wie z.B. die Schlüsselübergabe hat völlig reibungslos funktioniert. Einziges Manko ist, dass das Haus etwas hellhörig ist. Wenn mal eine Tür knallt (was wegen des starken Winds durchaus hin und wieder passiert) hört man das im ganzen Haus. Uns hat das aber nicht so sehr gestört und wir haben uns trotzdem sehr wohl gefühlt hier und werden sicher wieder kommen.

We have stayed in El Cotillo many times but this is the first time at this lovely apartment. It is a perfect location, near to shops and restaurants but also near the lagoon beaches. It has two beautiful terraces so you can always find sun or shade. It is the perfect place to come home to after a day on the beach or a nice walk up a volcano. We hope to be back again soon.

We spent one week in Nov/Dec. The apartment is fine for 2 adults and children. The apartment is well insulated, which is a benefit in the cold months. Wifi please notice: you must logon the router first(SIDD and password is at the buttom of the router) Anette & Jorgen (Danish)

Lovely apartment and great location, excellent pool. Very close to the beach, supermarket right on the door step too. Good choice of restaurants near by, If you enjoy peace and quiet and are not looking for too much in the way of entertainment then you’ll enjoy this resort. Apartment very clean and well equipped

Just back from a great week in El Cotillo. Body boarding, swimming in the lagoons, cycling round the North Shore and just sitting on the beach or by the pool made for a perfect family holiday. Apartment has everything you need but plentiful and inexpensive places to eat and drink around so no need to cook. Thanks Lola for a great week!

My wife and I stayed at Casa Gaia for a 4 week period during Feb 2018 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. Everything was exactly as described on the website and contributed to a wonderful relaxing stay in El Cotillo. The apartment had everything we needed and we had been advised via email by owner Lola in advance that the only thing we would need to bring was mosquito repellent and sun cream. Normally we would take such advice with a pinch of salt and bring the usual tea, coffee, salt, washing powder etc. but we needn't have bothered as indeed everything we required was provided. The apartment benefits from a good sized balcony leading off from the two bedrooms which was great to enjoy the sun in the morning. The spacious roof terrace was our usual spot to relax and take in the sun in the afternoon. The balcony has a table and chairs along with a settee, seat and coffee table and the roof terrace has a table, chairs as well as sun loungers and cushions. Even sun hats are provided if needed! The bathroom is equipped with a great shower with virtually instant hot water. A washing machine is also provided which is a great bonus. The living room/kitchen is well equipped and is clean and tidy. The apartment has a great view of the sea from either the living room or the upstairs terrace. The only issue we had during our stay was an initial problem with the wifi but this was resolved by the owner Lola after we contacted her. El Cotillo is a lovely spot with beautiful scenery along the beach towards the lighthouse. The old and new harbours are within a 10 minute stroll away and are great for stopping up at a café for a coffee and cake and engaging in some people watching. There is a fantastic choice of good quality restaurants including Sottovento, Azzurro and La Ballena. For snacks and light lunches Ocean Deli and El Mentidero offer great value. If you would like a quieter break away from the normal tourist hot spots then El Cotillo is certainly worth a try and nowhere better to stay then Casa Gaia. We would certainly love to return! Incidentally we had our deposit returned promptly within 7 days of checking out.

Enjoyed swimming in the lagoon, the roof terrace, and trip to Betancuria.

This was our first trip away wth our 9 month old baby and Lola did everything to ensure our stay was perfect. She was highly communicative and accommodating from the moment we made the booking. The apartment is so well equipped! Only things you need to bring as clothes, toiletries and travel adapters! There are plenty of spaces to enjoy the outside- the solarium and balcony both being wonderful lazing spots. The view from the lounge to the sea is perfect. Our baby enjoyed the spacious travel cot (large brought to accommodate a sleepyhead grand) and the highchair. We stayed in November and did not find the appartment too hot- 27C. I imagine Lola would provide fans if needed in the summer months. The pool was beautifully maintained, but is worth noting it’s not heated (24C) so we managed to buy our baby a wetsuit from Lashares which she also used daily in the beautiful morning lagoons at the beach 2 mins walk from the appartment (the best beach!). Only thing for me that would improve the appartment would be to put up a second blind in the east facing twin room to block light in the morning- we had a travel black out blind for our baby so it wasn’t an issue for us. Oh and the WiFi is a little slow/intermittent which just meant we spent more time talking and enjoying or environment that spending it on the net! :) The location is superb- El Cottillo is perfect if you prefer a more relaxed, less touristy holiday that still has plenty of amazing seafood restaurants and places for cocktails whilst watching the sunset over the sea. The appartment is 2 mins from a supermarket, a great cocktail bar, brilliant eatery and in our opinion the best beach in el cotillo. We loved it and certainly hope to return! We stayed for 9 weeks and found it a home from home. A clean, well cared for apartment with every utility you could wish for. I would recommend it to anyone. The location is great. Really close to the superb beaches in El Cotillo and also to the supermarket and restaurants. Nothing to complain about at all.

Everything you need, you will find in this apartment.... Close to the sea, nice view, walking distance from old center of the town,... Special requests for young kids are possible... We sure would like to come back here!

A very recommandable apartment in this very easy-going and magnificent located town on the west-coast. Very good service from the owner and a terrific sun-terrace at the roof. We would like tio com back!
