The only thing good about this property was the guy at the front desk was very good to deal with.

Open walking into the hotel, it was okay. The front desk attendant was a nice guy. Greeted us with a smile. We checked in, we were given our cards to our room. We went up to the third floor to our room. As soon as the elevator opened the whole floor just stunk of weed. We got to our room and they keys wouldn’t work. So we had to go back down to the bobby. We mentioned that the smell of weed was overpowering for a non smoking floor. He apologized and gave us an “upgrade”. So we went to the second floor to our new room. The second we walked in, the room was freezing cold. Being the middle of January, we were shocked to see the windows were left open. So it took some time for the room to warm up. The room was very poorly lit. After driving all day to Calgary I wanted a shower. There was almost no water pressure. After looking around the room, it was quite apparent the rooms do not get cleaned properly if at all. I’m not joking there was cum stains on everything in the room. (Pictures will be attached). I usually sleep in just my underwear, however I slept fully clothed on top of the blankets. I would have normally just immediately checked out and went somewhere else, but it was about midnight checking in and didn’t want the hassle of finding another hotel at midnight. In the morning, we checked out, went to the lobby and the same person was working. I told him about the situation and he apologized saying sometimes they leave the window open “for the smell”. Staff was good but i didn’t like staying their.

rooms were not clean and washroom bathtub was broken. they gave me dirty room first and then i tried calling they didn’t pick and i came back at reception with my stuff back.

Location was great. Didn’t have to spend a lot of time in the car. Staff was friendly and helpful.

It felt like I was walking into an abandoned building that someone was in the process of restoring. Nothing seemed finished, or not dirty and rundown. And the half naked woman I walked out into the hallway one morning to find (quietly) randomly trying door handles was a bit weird.

Clean room, quite close to airport

No one mentioned at check in that your breakfast ( which is a grab&go) was until 9am. We got "upgraded" to a double double bed instead of a king premium room which meant that me and my partner had to sleep separately as we couldn't fit into one. Staff was ok. All in all we were expecting a bit more from a hotel

Cleanliness, staff were very good. I stayed here several times when it was a Travelodge. The new renovations are excellent. They have improved the site phenomenally. I will definitely book this in the future, as long as the rates stay reasonable.

Can't think of anything negative except perhaps a breakfast would be nice.

Location is near centre of Calgary

Customer care number they provided was never answered even after 10 calls . Building is very old and zero cleanliness. Room was stinking . Windows and walls were dirty. Carpet in main aisle was stinky. Spend 50 bucks more and stay at some other better place.

The whole room wasn’t clean especially the bed sheets, pillow case and…the worst, the comforter was stained with blood and others!!!! Breakfast was the worst as well. Food was cold, dry and soiled! We wanted to talk to a staff member over the phone but the phone wasn’t working. Room service wasn’t good. Front desk wasn’t polite and accommodating. The furnitures in the lobby looks like they have been pulled out from the dumpster!

Breakfast??? Yeah right! Said they had breakfast but ended up being an egg and sausage sandwich offer, which we decided against.

The place was dirty, dated, and no way met a reasonable standard, but priced very high. Nothing like the website showed. Very disappointed.

Unclean rooms. Had to switch rooms twice because the first room we were put on reeked of cigarettes and the AC wasn’t functional. In the 2nd room we switched into.. the lock wasn’t working so we could lock the room, there was a brown stain on the bed sheet, the shower curtain was stained, there wasn’t even a trash can in the bathroom. The pictures of the hotel looked like a fantasy version of the actual hotel, they’re “under construction”. The staff was rude and when we went down to the lobby to try to get our room changed, the two receptionists were on the phone with a friend and just laughing while my friend and i were trying to talk to them, we ended up checking out 2 hours after checking in because we were so dissatisfied and felt unsafe within the time we were in the property.

lock on door did not work and door could be pushed opened if not latched when closing. when to front desk , associate told us it would be noted and it was “fine because they have cameras”. was never fixed. room was dirty. no towels in room and refused them at front desk when asked because “housekeeping went home”.
