Staff very friendly and helpful. Conference and beach facilities were excellent.
Room a bit dated for example the coffee machine!

Ubicacion junto al mar
Masificado, sin servicio desayuno, sin servicio habitaciones. Un modelo que no disfruto. Ni un solo restaurante con comida aceptable

pools were nice, staff was responsive via the hilton honors app which was important because the room amenities were lacking. the tapa buffet was good, though it was confusing to find due to the lack of staff working and directions.
The coffee pot was also not cleaned from previous guest use. Overall I questioned the attention to detail and effort applied into preparing the room as well as the hotel for mine and other guests stay.

We chose this hotel for its location and amenities. We had a room in the Rainbow Tower and our balcony directly overlooks the Lagoon in the foreground and the ocean in the distance.
At the time of our stay, the Housekeeping staff were picketing the main entrances of the hotel and the noise of their non-stop chanting started at 7am and past 9pm. On arrival, we were warned of the disruption but no one at booking.com or the hotel warned us that there was going to be limited housekeeping provided and that we will have to collect our linen from tables at certain floors of the Tower. The hotel gave us a full refund on paper which booking.com so far refuse to honor.

not a lot
I'm not happy at all very disappointed, everything started with the room not being cleaned, after that we had to wait for service to clean up and when we come back we found cockroaches near all our luggage, the new room we got was facing the city and not the ocean, the smoke detector battery was low we ask the front desk to fix the issue and no one showed up we barely sleep the first night the cleaning stuff is on strike and we didn't got notified before we arrived, it was hard to sleep with them outside yelling all day same as when we decided to stay in the pool they were yelling with speakers right next to the pool it was a very disappointing vacations.

Close to downtown.
Striking by employees that we weren’t told about and no refund of any kind offered. We had zero room service.
1.0
Not a lot.
1. Employees striking and protesting day and night was noisy and insufferable. Hilton, pay your people what they deserve!
2. Check in absolutely awful, worse than an airport.
3. Kalia tower is like going back in time. Who on earth still rents DVDs? The whole tower is dated and in desperate need for a refurb, and it was like an abandoned building.
4. Due to the strike, we had no housekeeping service to our room, and had to go up 2 floors to get our own amenities. Bed sagged in the middle. Headboard broken. Photo shows ‘help yourself housekeeping’.
4. We literally spoke to 2 employees the time we were there. The most helpful person was the luggage storage attendant.
5. Location is quite a way out from town and wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you didn’t plan on leaving the ‘village’.
6. The main reason for us staying at this hotel was the pools and waterslide. We found that despite their being multiple slides, they only open one at a time. So that was super annoying!
7. On top of all this they charge you absolutely top dollar, and what you get is an old and dated room, zero customer service and disruptive noise all day.

The location was good.
The workers strike was horrible. As a guest they disrupted every minute of the day and night with their protests. They even addressed the guests as scabs crossing their picket lines. At any moment the situation could have escalated. Horrible experience.
The room was without AC so after traveling 13 hours I had to wait for repairs. Additionally the bathtub would not drain. There is minimal staff so getting help is impossible. Overall the hotel is in need of updates and definitely does not live up to the Hilton brand.

I Main restaurants not open, no room service, no room cleaning for 10 days, not hot water for 5 nights…. Noisy protesters every morning walking us up early
As above

The location is nice and I like how it's beachfront!
There was a strike going on during our 7 day stay with the housekeeping hotel employees that went on from 6am-10pm every single day. The hotel failed to tell anyone before arriving. They only let us know at check in. House keeping services were unavailable the entire time we were there. It has been over a month apparently. We had to take out our own trash and get all toiletries ourselves. Rooms were often full of sand from the beach and there was no way to have our room cleaned.

Location is great, right on the beach with plenty of pools
The customer service at the key desk was very rude not willing to help. I went to ask for a new room because our tub was draining very slow and was told they couldn't give me another room because they had too many check-ins so, they ask that I schedule and in the room while maintenance worked on the problem. When I told them we had activities scheduled they said well come back tomorrow and let me know when you can schedule with maintenance. I went back the next day and they finally gave us another room after I told them that we were on vacation and not there to wait for maintenance.
We did not have any house keeping since the workers were on strike. The noise from the strike can be heard from our room could not enjoy our balcony.

Beautiful location. Should have had all the amenities, but the strike ruined it all.
The strike made it almost unbearable. Because I wasn’t able to cancel our reservations, we had to suffer through it while still paying the high prices for basically nothing. Imagine at 6:40am sitting on your balancing taking in the beauty and then 100 protesters come marching in banging gongs, beating drums, shouting in to bull horns.
Ruined. 5 Days in ruin except when off the property.

タオルやゴミ袋を自分で変えなくてはいけないのでとても面倒。何泊もしているのにシーツも変えてくれない、部屋も掃除してくれない。

Service was horrendous!! We were not informed there was a strike and our customer service would be affected so tremendously! The strike is horrible and you should take care of your staff and support them to ensure there is no disruption to your guest stay. It’s horrible to pass picket lines just to wht to your room !! Terrible!!

Previous staff were on strike, we had to tend to our needs ourselves. Some restaurants and bars were closed. Not good!
Cleanliness, better options for food, Really disapointing.

Location was beautiful and the staff were very friendly.
For the price, I expected a better/updated room. There was a mix up and I did not get the room I had reserved. So was given another room instead. Irritating, but we accepted it. For three women though, the room could’ve been bigger, with a bigger restroom. Also, we could’ve used a microwave. The room was just set up weird.
Was not aware of any breakfast restaurants. Was hoping for free breakfast with the price we’d paid for our accommodations.
Also, didn’t like that the bar and entertainment ended at 9:30 pm. We were told it was due to complaints from guests in surrounding areas. Maybe the hotel should let those types of guests know upfront that Waikiki is a busy resort area/town and recommend a quieter area for them elsewhere. It really was a downer not knowing that last call was at 9:30 pm.
Oh, and a heads up about the protesters/strike from the hotel workers would’ve been nice. I get their plight, but our stay wasn’t exactly comfortable with all that going on. I feel with all the inconveniences I stated above comps should be in order.

Easy very close beach access..WITH POTENTIAL to be a fantastic place to stay if they had their stuff together unfortunately they do not and it was a complete mess of a stay!!
Arrived to loud screaming chanting of the resort hotel workers in strike… We arrived to check in late around 9pm at night and when we got our room the sheets and bedding were dirty, hair on towels and in bed. Shower curtain was gross and dirty. Our shower water was very very cold or very very hot no in between so we FROZE or BURNT in the shower. No room service, called for towels and new sheets didn’t get them for multiple days ended up having to walk and find them myself on another floor of our hotel.. our front desk lobby was deserted so no one to ask for help had to go find a different tower to actually find someone to get try to answers or help. All day from 7am-11pm there was people on strike screaming and blow horns and megaphones right outside our balcony and around the entire resort so we literally could not enjoy our balcony or our room cause you can hear them even with the balcony door closed!!! Couldn’t even enjoy the resort we paid thousands of dollars for!! Had to spend most of our time away from the resort!!! ???? I truly hope Hilton reaches out to try and do something about this for all guests that have experienced this because this is not okay!! Hilton do better!!!

Keine Toilettenpapier. Mussten uns selber darum kümmern!! Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmte gar nicht!

Loud strikers the entire time, almost all amenities closed. Don’t waste your money until issues are resolved.
Unfortunately didn’t enjoy due to strikers

None
Dirty, the staff were on strike, no housekeeping, no one at the front desk, korean staff were just trying to sell stuff, sent an email and got no reply, no hotel service at all, the worst accomodation I've ever experienced in my entire life, will never come back again

We went on a family holiday with two young girls. They loved the pools, close proximity to the beach and activities provided by the hotel - such as hula dancing classes and fireworks.
We also liked the rooms themselves. A bit dated, but a good size for a family.
We went at an unfortunate time - when many of the hotel staff were striking. We heard constant chanting from the strikers which was quite scary for our girls. Because of this the service was incredibly poor.
Aside from that - the 4pm check in was not ideal, we had to wait over an hour to check in which after a long day of travel is frustrating. The quality of food from the restaurants in the hotel was poor considering the high price.

I liked leaving! After 8 days of protests by striking employees, my nerves have had it! Unlike most people I don’t get the luxury of just moving hotels. I have a disabled husband and nothing handicapped worked for him to get in the pools, or to the beach! It was rough!
Half of all food, drinks, entertainment was closed. The noise from the protest were too loud from 7:30 am to 10:00 pm

Only one staff was competent enough to be helpful.
EVERYTHING!!!! Nothing about our vacation was worth the trip! This property wasn’t set a strike, no housekeeping, no room service, nothing was open, 1/2 of everything was either closed or had reduced hours and was not open for the day! Honestly I would give it a -10!

The place was pretty.
No staff, they were all ON STRIKE. No clean towels in your room. Garbage piled up in bedrooms and hallways. Fridge didn't work. It froze our food. Noise was of the striking staff was terrible everyday from early morning to evening, singing and shouting. My tub wasn't cleaned right. They charged full price with no discounts, and wanted you to go to the 10th floor to get your towels and toilet paper supplies, which they sometimes didn't have. COULD NOT find a Manager. Didn't get the whole Hilton experience . Terrible vacation. We should have been e mailed about the strike. I would have went somewhere else.
Would'like money back. Most of the restaurants were also shut down.

The sun was shining
Due to a staff strike service was non-existent. No cleaning during our 4 day stay.If I wanted to make my own bed we would have booked at the YMCA. Chanting and drumming started at 6 am and stopped at 10pm. Very disturbing.......
During discussions with Manager Eugene Oka, substantial discounts, such as refunding of Resort fees and tax refunds were discussed and promised, but could not be implicated. The claim has to be made by "Bookings" as you are the booking agent.
