Hot tub wasn't getting hot at all. Pool was SUPER COLD.

Nice hotel, it’s pretty big and the layout is aesthetically pleasing. The room was also large with a living room & bedroom. There was plenty of sink space and soap/shampoo/conditioner for use. I loved all the mirrors and there was a lot of natural lighting from outside. The happy hour from 5-7:30 was a great bonus! They had snacks and free drinks for guests which was something I haven’t had at other hotels that weren’t resorts. The front desk lady, Crystal, was very kind. I ended up getting physically ill during my stay and called several times for problems I’ll speak on below and even though she was busy, she made sure I was taken care of. I was able to check in early, at 1pm which was nice.

I was really disappointed because I specifically booked this hotel to use the hot tub and have a relaxing night to myself before heading home, but it was out of order. I know it’s out of their control, but I really wish I could have used it. I also couldn’t get the shower to switch over to bath water and had to call 3 times to get someone from maintenance to come up; the bath was missing a whole handle that operated the shower part and had to be added on. I requested some extra trash bags for the little trash cans and guest services brought me 60 gallon black hefty trash bags, which was kinda humorous but not exactly practical. The shower head and bathtub had rusting and black spots in numerous areas that had me questioning whether I should sit in it. The walls are either really thin or there are critters in them because I heard random noises throughout the stay that I couldn’t tell if they were coming from my room or not.

Breakfast was a nightmare. Too many guests, not enough staff.

The pool was a bit gross. Hot tub wasn't working, hot tub is half the reason I booked there.

Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations! My only gripe is that I chose this hotel because of the hot tub and it was out of service. With that being said we kept reservation because of everything else. That will not be our last stay there, we shall meet again! LOL!❤️

I love how close it is to the Chesapeake Arena ! My favorite hotel to stay when visiting for a concert.

Was clean and welcoming. The staff were nice. My daughter loved her experience. She's 6. Was in the area for a cheer competition. Had to switch hotels due to the other one being disgusting. Dirty. And full of bugs. This place made my daughter feel safe and comfortable.

The room was clean and well stocked with towels. Breakfast was pretty good with a wide variety of food to choose from.

Unsupervised children of guests, one that was swinging from a luggage cart on the fourth floor. Could have easily gone over the railing.

We love the spacious suite and the quietness nightly. I rented a walker, and the staff was very kind on returning it so it can be picked up by scootaround. We will return our next vacation.

Didn't like the schedule of cleaning our room. Our 6-day stay, we felt that we should not have to request cleaning. However, we did receive clean towels daily.. The breakfast was okay, but serving bacon every morning was boring.

The last day (Sunday) the hostess checking ppl for breakfast mentioned that I was not on the list or my room# was and made a reference that ppl were coming in from all over the place eating the food. He was kind of rude in the whole process

The lobby was clean / evening reception was nice but only one bartender

Room wasn’t cleaned properly, curtains fell down soon as I pulled them open. One chef at breakfast, waited in line about 30 minutes. Pool/spa needs clean and updated

Everything was great. I notice the Sheff that made the omelet is the same person I see every time I come. He is so nice and quick with putting my omelet together. I love the happy hour and the pool and sauna is so very relaxing. I stay at this hotel at least eight times a year and have never had any problems.

I only had one incident and that was when the children were unsupervised in the pool area and there were people coming in with coats on, taking them off and getting in the pool and not knowing if they were guest or not.

My room was dated and just didn’t feel fresh and clean. Couch was dirty and worn. A faint smell throughout. Managers Happy Hour was nice but food was put-out, and quickly gone within the first 30 minutes of the 90 minute session and not replenished.
