No removable shower head . Not good for feminine higiene

Good location, handy for getting around town. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. The shower worked well and hot water was plentiful. I liked having a sink area separate from the toilet/bathtub room. I also liked that our room was located in a separate building with only 4 units total. It was extremely quiet. Good energy-efficient lighting in the hallways. The continental breakfast was decent, the coffee was hot although a bit weak.

My husband and I stayed here this past weekend while we attended a concert in Detroit. Our room, along with many others was not ready at check in time. We waited 30 minutes without an apology from staff, but understood as they were very busy. The hotel itself is fine, very standard and clean. We enjoyed our stay until the day after check out, when the hotel reached out on booking.com accusing my husband and I of stealing 3 hand towels and 3 bath towels from our room. Our room only had 2 sets of towels to begin with so I do not understand how this is even possible. Our towels did not leave the bathroom during our stay. When I called to ask about these accusations the manager was rude and dismissive of me. How exactly am I supposed to prove I didn’t steal after I’ve already checked out and driven home? Could they not have considered maybe there was a housekeeping error as they were fully booked and extremely busy? Beware they may falsely accuse you of stealing and charge your credit card.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable. I was sooo happy to have real cream with my coffee in my room and not powdered whitener that other hotels have. Thank you.

It would be nice to have an elevator to take luggage up but we were able to manage and carry the luggage up the stairs.
