Location location location. I always, we always enjoy staff who can laugh and make us feel comfortable.Your staff exceeded our expectations. And yes the food was delicious.

The staff were extremely helpful. The view from our room overlooking the water was lovely. The room was spacious and had a balcony.

We had to walk 1-2 kilometres into town for meals because the motel restaurant is closed for renovation at present. We didn’t mind because it’s an interesting walk.

The location on the water and the restaurant were both great. The staff were really exceptional. Though I had booked under only my current married name, my credit card had my original married name hyphenated with my current one. When the lady at the desk saw the first married name, she and her desk mate understood I was in town for a celebration of life service and talked to me about how they knew my stepson, and offered condolences. Though I have never lived in Port Hardy, they made me feel very cared for. My mother also felt ill while we were there and she had to change rooms the morning after we arrived. The staff were quick to help with no issue.

The beds were not as comfortable as I've had in hotels, but they were not too bad.

On motorcycle, parking was well lit and in view of night clerk and through the door peep hole which was important to me.

Restaurant was closed, but they recommended good take out so no big deal.

Not able to get into pub/restaurant for either dinner nor breakfast

we booked all 2 beds in each room online and then we when we got there they were all single beds. the lady did a good job to facilitate it. but that shouldnt happen in the first place when i had confirmations of this all.
