We had specified on our reservation that we had a dog. The first response we got was “I’m not sure if we have anywhere to put you “ After the clerk spoke with the manager we were given room 101. We had to walk down to the basement area, the cooling system did not work, and the whole vibe of the room was very “unsettling “. Our dog immediately went back to the door and started to bark, which she never does, she LOVES hotels. We knew right away that we were not staying there! Unfortunately it was non refundable but we truly did not care at this point!

The staff both when we checked in and out were super friendly and chatted with us and went out of their way to answer all our questions.You are blessed with excellent staff.

Didn’t like the steps to the second floor,didn’t see any elevator

Comfortable room overlooking Corner Brook metropolitan area.

One would expect that a hotel of the internationally known Quality Inn chain would automatically have an elevator. But this property doesn’t. They mentioned this fact neither in the description they publish on Booking.com, nor on the reservation confirmation they sent us. The elderly members of our party thus had to make an unexpected climb to their rooms.

The Resturant.

Without a doubt the worse hotel of our month long travels across 2 countries. There was literally what looked to be mold and a mushroom growing from the bathroom ceiling. Our door would not latch without the deadbolt being engaged. Not to mention the issues we had with checking in do to a 6 hour delay from a terrible car accident we got stuck behind.

Not as clean as expected in public areas. Room seemed tired.

On check in, we were given a room that was already occupied. The guest was none too pleased when we entered their room with the key card we were given, Back to the front desk we went and then were given a room with a broken air conditioning unit. Back to the front desk again. No other rooms available, no one available to service the AC, no interest in giving us even a fan, and "no" to our request for a reduction in price for all of the absurdity. There was more as well, but this would become a novel to cover it. Will never stay there again.

Excellent update of this hotel. It was very comfortable, clean, and spacious.

The water pressure was exceedingly low the entire morning of the day we left.

Room was as expected, a hotel room. Staff were excellent. Restaurant was awesome with exceptional staff and food was terrific.

TV functions were hard to use and A/C was also hard to control.
