The room was updated/remodel. Which was nice

Hotel is in a bad location. It is behind a ghetto circle k and next to a really ghetto old motel. There are a lot of bums all around. The pool area is not secure. People prop the pool gate open and people from the ghetto motel come over and whomever. It is a safety concern and we did not use the pool for this reason. We told the staff and they are very aware of it always happening.. They seem a bit tired of it themselves and I am surprised management doesn't do something about it. It is a huge liability waiting to happen. Breakfast was not good compared to other Hyatts we have stayed at. Bagels, frozen Jimmy Dean sandwiches, a horrible frozen sausage sandwich that has some weir herbs in it that taste horrible...or cereal. We ended up eating at Donut Bar instead which we love. When we first arrived our wall unit AC was not working. Instead of switching us to a new room they sent maintenance in to fix it for 30 to 40 mins. He had to replace the whole unit while we were in the room. I felt horrible for the guy having to mess with the super old wall units infront of guests. The are pet friendly but do not really have places to take your pet potty... and make sure you don't go to the parking lot alone as there are a lot of people on drugs all around and we even saw a guy on a bike with a mask,/back pack meet up with another shady fellow for what looked like a drug deal. The room was clean but towels had stains on them and almost every single one had a long black hair folded up in them. I even went and asked for new towels. The gave me 3 and even the new towels, (2 out of 3) had a long black hair. The next morning there was a cleaning lady cleaning rooms with her long black hair not pulled back into a pony tail...which explains a lot. I am super disappointed in Hyatt as we normally have amazing stays with them but this location is super bad.

Awful. Our bathroom was filthy, and overall the room was not clean. Our air conditioning unit didn’t work, and when reported to the staff they said they’d have someone look at it, but didn’t seem to care. Close to the airport which was nice on our first night as our flight didn’t get in until after midnight. We checked out the next morning and stayed elsewhere.

We have been staying in Hyatt’s exclusively for the past three years, and this experience has caused us to look at using other brands. We won’t stay in a Hyatt again after this. Disgusting.

We stayed there for 9 nights . Room service supposed to be in once in a 4 days however they just showed up once during the entire visit and they even did not clean the room properly. We stucked in the same elevator twice although they should have called the service before.

The beds were comfortable.

The room was not 100% clean (dried liquid left on the dresser) - no shampoo etc. I understand that this may be due to COVID. The location is near homelessness and this is not what I'm used to when I pay to stay at a Hyatt.

Was disappointed being it was Hyatt. Seemed like I was at the Travelodge but with the Hyatt price

We left a terrible motel across the street and for just $30 more, we got a beautiful clean room with excellent hospitality here at the Hyatt. The front desk agent even had our breakfast prepared for our 5am departure the next day. Highly recommend!

Shower water was lukewarm, not hot! Where carpet meets tile, I stepped on carpet nails coming through.
