Jalal was a very helpful host and the place is quiet, clean and well-maintained.

There is a very strong smell of mold, especially on the first floor. The listing states that the B&B is located in Englishtown, but that is not the case, pay attention to the exact location when booking. The mattress was very soft and uncomfortable- I would definitely recommend replacing it. Also, the cost is very high, considering the host has decided not to serve breakfast anymore.

Wonderful setting, with paths and a nearby pond. Jalal the host was very helpful and allowed us use of the kitchen while he was still unable to provide for breakfast. Nearby Clucking Hen Restaurant was very nice. Our room has a lovely outdoor patio with comfortable chairs. The house had a lovely sitting room and eating veranda.

Lovely rural retreat.

No breakfast provided and nowhere open in the locality to get one.

The owner greeted us warmly and made certain that we were comfortable. He gave us a very large room with extra comfortable seating. A nice touch for me was the china tea service. I very nice treat after too many paper cups on our trip! We had a patio door that looked out on a large lawn near water. He has a walking path that I didn't get to use because of rain. Everything was done to make certain that we would enjoy our stay.

The grounds could be attended to better. I think it's a matter of not having enough help to do all that needs to be done.

Beautiful location, huge room with patio, furniture in good condition, comfortable beds and good sized pillows, cleanliness. Quiet, could not hear the neighbors, beautiful view of a lake from the porch..

There was no breakfast, but there is a breakfast place 2-3 minutes away that offers lunch and dinner as well.

The room was very comfortable and spacious, I liked it very much. Quiet place along the Cabot Trail, I definitely recommend. We received useful information about restaurants in the area (distances and opening times) in advance. I really appreciated since in Cape Breton many places close quite early.

At the moment there is no breakfast service due to covid restrictions, but inside the room a coffee machine is provided and also cups and glasses. As an alternative, there is a good bar for breakfast near the house, it's only a 2 minutes drive.

Everything else was excellent! The owner is very kind and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and comfortable! Nice decoration in the house! The location is quiet and beautiful and is very close to a cafe & bakery. Thank you for being a part of our wonderful trip to the Cape Breton Island!

Owner is very hospitable and welcomed us even we arrived late. Very quiet place with private lake and woods, facing mountain. Elegant room decors.

Internet WiFi needs to be improved in the luxury cottage

The owner was pleasant. The room was clean. I thought the bed was comfortable but my husband did not.

If the facility is advertised as a bed and breakfast then breakfast should be provided. It was not. The grounds seemed a little unkept.

Nothing available. No food, no drinks, no water, no television. No shower, 20 minutes away to get something to eat. Host could have had something. Coffee drinks. Crackers.

Although we hat breakfast included it was not offered. We paid for that in advance. It was really enjoying because there are no option to buy food. The next option to buy food (supermarket for example) is approximately 35-40 minutes away.

it was very clean and the room was lovely.however it was a B&B with no breakfast, and no coffee in the room ! no place to go really just your room, so it was more like a motel. half the fun of a B&B is meeting the other guests and to chatting over breakfast.

no coffee, no meeting room , no breakfast, no real interaction with the host ,not a warm and friendly atmosphere.
