Room was excellent. Stayed in the premier room with balcony. Loved it. Menu was limited but everything was tasty. Staff was helpful, nice and engaging.

Two elevators per floor. Tons of people. Maybe 10 people max in each. Hotel was superbusy with conventions and weddings. Lots and lots of people. Elevators slow and seemed crowded. Plus I was on the 4th floor, the elevators lacked a floor counter, so you did not know when your floor was coming up. It would be nice to have floor counters on each floor.

The pillows were the best I experienced over the 100 hotels. So comfy and we slept well. The location and neighborhood were excellent. Breakfast was so delicious then I repeated the same menu for the 2nd day. The lobby and room were well sized, well designed and very clean. The decoration and ambience of common areas were wonderful.

I have booked the same type of room several times in the past and I have never been in a room this small. We were even told that our room was upgraded, but the space in the room was very minimal and they only provided one set of towels. Additionally, several areas of the room were not cleaned properly and the staff was very dismissive and unhelpful.

Zimmer war sehr staubig inkl. Nachtisch. Hätte in den 6 Tagen definitiv mal Staub gewischt werden sollen, insbesondere für den Preis. Ob gesaugt wurde, stelle mich ch auch mal in Frage.

Restaurant was great. Room was very nice. Property was beautiful.

The system went down to check in, had to wait an hour and half to get my room key. The person behind me checking in cut the line per the managers allowance (Alton Bailey). Only gave me one room key , the bed was stiffer than laying on concrete, they ran out of complementary coffee and had to was 45 min for coffee. They also charge 55 dollars a night on top of your room fee to have a car there. Will never stay there again.

History of the hotel

Rude staff, nickel and dime for everything. Misleading valet charge, not family friendly as advertised, bed extremely uncomfortable, tiles in bathroom broken. Wouldn’t give the gift bags for kids that were behind counter.

Historic and great location

Rooms a bit dated but very comfortable

It was cool to stay at an historic property, and I liked the Christmas decor. You can walk to some restaurants and stores nearby.

The hotel is badly in need of renovations and I was disappointed in the state of it. Many advertised amenities were unavailable, for example the business center (which I needed to use during my 3-day stay) was empty, also no gym or spa. The room was VERY noisy. We heard entire conversations in the adjoining room (the guest was also sick so sneezing/coughing constantly and waking us up at night, the walls are that thin). Heard entire conversations in the hallways. The room was not cleaned well; there was a book left behind in the bed. Refrigerator was slightly moldy. Expensive parking charge, tons of added fees for room service food (we wanted to order but couldn't justify all the fees), and...I had no idea hotels were still charging for WiFi in 2023.

Location is great. Really like the historic character.
