Good location Great size of room for a family of 4 although bathroom was disproportionately small

We were a family of 4 arriving after a long flight from UK. On check in, I asked if the sofa bed had been made up, it wasn’t so I requested if this could be arranged as we wanted an early dinner and early night. After returning from dinner this still wasn’t done so I called down again. Still no housekeeping. In the end I gave up and made up the bed with the little bedding I could find in the room (not enough pillows and no duvet) I requested for a duvet 3 times over the course of the stay but was finally told they didn’t have enough! I also don’t understand why when you have booked/paid for 4 guests you then have to request enough towels, cups, glasses etc

Liked the friendly less of staff, good size room comfortable bed and location of the hotel was good

Should have room cleaning service for one night too. More choices for drinking facilities such as milk and not just milk powder and for Brits visitors we need more choice of Tea bags. And perhaps add breakfast facilities

Room was rather large and had a kitchenette.

Rooms were serviced only every other day. Hotel location itself is not great. Many homeless and overall somehow depressing atmosphere. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and communication was non existent. Creepy experience. I will look somewhere else for my next stay in San Fran.

The location is best. Powell St. is a block away. The room is spacious, much more so than in most hotels in downtown. Housekeeping is only once in a six-day stay, and each extra housekeeping service costs $50 or so. But you can ask them to change towels and empty trash cans for free. The latter service is as good as (to me even better than) the full housekeeping. There is a refrigerator, a big microwave, a coffee maker, and kitchen utensils. Although there is no electric kettle, you can use the microwave. There is a large working desk, which is good for business travelers.

Note that while the address is Post St., but the entrance is in Mason St. The airport pick up driver did not know it and wandered around the district. There is no central control switch for the lightings in the room. When you go to bed, you have to walk around the room to turn off every switch in the room. However, this was not a big deal.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The location was good. Staff at front desk were attentive.

Housekeeping were not very attentive - ended up cleaning our own room a few times. The location, though good could also be an issue as if you stray too far you may end up in the rough part of town.
