Great hotel. The location is perfect and close to downtown and all attractions. The hotel is clean and nice. The breakfast was very good. The staff was friendly and helped me with everything I needed including storing luggage. They allowed us late check-in. Perfect place for Austin stay!

Nothing, we immediately left and got a refund, I do not understand how this facility is still open. It is the definition of a health and safety violation.

To everyone complaining about this hotel, what did you expect from BY FAR the cheapest hotel option in downtown Austin? Yes there was some paint chipping in my room and yes the exterior was dated, but the linens were clean and the staff was very friendly. I got exactly what I paid for and wasn't expecting more. 10/10 it met expectations.

I got late check-out but they still knocked on my door to clean early. They were understanding and left me alone when I told them I had a late check-out.

The staff was good, the room itself wasn't bad, and the location was good.

The whole place is in serious need of upgrading and cleaning. Exterior walkways are dirty with loose plaster, same with the elevators, and only one ice machine was working. The place just feels neglected, like nobody cares.

Typically, I am a very simple person, but this hotel was the bare minimum. Lights were broken in the room blankets and sheets seem to be very damp and wet. Air conditioning filters were not cleaned. Valet parking was extremely expensive. The price for this hotel and valet does not match the quality of the actual stay. The staff was extremely unprofessional at the reception desk. The receptionist was watching Netflix on her phone and texting on the phone. The valet park were very nice though.

Not much - the bed was comfortable and the hotel was a good location.

The hotel in general was very run down. The common facilities had a bad odour, as well as the room. The aircon, fridge (which we unplugged) and plumbing was very noisy. There was a homeless person sleeping at the top of the stairs who abused us when we accidentally woke them up. The hotel decided to water blast right outside our room at 9pm on a Sunday evening. The tap in the bathroom sink was broken. And the reason we booked this accommodation was because of the onsite parking, which was $45 per day. When we enquired about why the price was so high, we were told it was because it was a valet service, which we only received when we arrived, the rest of our stay the parking was just self-service.

I liked the Location and the access to the facility. Parking was ok too.

Valey parking wasn't what I expected for the price however it served the purposed.

The valet guy was nice

The first room they gave me had no electricity, they had to give me another room. It was sketchy getting to the other room. The bed has stains, the walls were dirty, the blinds were torn, the tub had mold around the seals, the floor had red stains, the lamps had red stains, the building itself is falling apart. The air ducts on the outside are caved in or broken. Getting breakfast in the morning, there were baby roaches crawling under the fridge where they keep the yogurt, there were baby roaches crawling on top of the trash can

Por donde partimos: -No hacen las habitaciones hasta le 4to día. -Las instalaciones están en la decadencia misma. -Mucho Ojo con el “valet parking”, ya que el hotel no tiene estacionamiento, sino que una empresa externa se hace cargo y dicha empresa es muy cara (50 Dólares por día) y el sistema de esta es bastante complicado que ni los empleados lo entienden. -Habían Cucarachas en la pieza, si habían.

Safety concerns, front desk clerk was rude seem inconvenienced by my presence, they wouldn’t accommodate for handicap parking; obligatory valet… the cleanliness of the area was poor, this LaQuinta has POOR curb appeal and terrible customer service

I liked the fact that the screaming homeless people didn’t try to open my door.

Everything was aweful. 51 dollars a night for 5 nights just to park. To sum up this location it’s like the built a parking garage a slapped some rooms next to it. Extremely noisy from the homeless to the rip off valet surface. Homeless people watch your every move, valet just loves honing a horn that isn’t their own. I heard rats all night too. Squeezing and running. This place came with a clogged toilet, a meth head tenant and an opiate addicted front desk person. She literally didn’t know I was standing in front of her for 5 minutes. This place is seriously a living hell. I told everyone I know that it’s worse than jail and I paid 250+ for parking and 300 for 5 nights. Just please listen to me and pay for a better hotel. I know I wish I did. Not only for those reasons but for my general safety. I feel like you read about places like this in a book. Definitely couldn’t believe a motel like this is in the middle of Fowntown Austin. I must say I was born and raised in this town and had no clue this place was this bad. Even the 183/i35 location is better. Be safe and do your research. I really wish I had done mine..

El servicio es muy malo, por parte de todo el personal, las instalaciones están en unas condiciones deplorables, inclusive, el elevador se siente como que se va a caer en cualquier momento. $45 Dlls de estacionamiento por día (sin contar el valet parking), no tiene buena iluminación

The room was kind of uncomfortable and half the outlets did not work. The coffee machine and iron didn’t work. Walls are very thin.

Great location

The hotel is very poorly cared for, very dirty, the first room I was allocated the door had been previously kicked in, and hadn’t been fixed. Upon complaining I was given a new room, the room was very dirty, lots of hair in the shower from previous guests, a dirty wash cloth hanging on the shower pole and sheets clearly hadn’t been washed. I was woken up in the morning by a cockroach crawling across my bed. Elevators are very old, I opted to use the stairs instead and was greeted by human feces. I had booked 2 nights in this hotel and checked out after 1 as it was so horrid. Staff were not apologetic or phased about any of the above, my friend also had cockroaches in her room, which was on a different floor to mine. They clearly have an infestation.

Fair location.

Didn't look/smell/ feel clean - and woke up to a cockroach on the bathroom door frame (and who knows where else). Gap at bottom of door onto carpark, room smelt of fumes. Staff were unbothered by cockroach in room. Checked out a day early and went to stay somewhere decent.

The staff was really nice and serviceminded and Hotel was located in middle of town. From the staffs side we got excatly what we needed and more.

The hotel was really worn out and that part was impossible to see from the pitures. Besides that, 51$ a day for parking is almost the same as a room.

The location was pretty central and there was cable TV. The longer you stay in the room the less you notice the foul smell. Potentially has enough material to write an indie film script out of.

Entering the room I was welcomed by a horrendous smell, which I think was from the carpet, and blaring TV that didn't have a remote. There were stains on the bed sheets and the bathroom didn't seem to have been cleaned properly. Staff were a little cold when checking in, which may have been from receiving complaints from guests, but were friendlier the longer we spoke. There was some commotion outside during the night and an ambulance was there when I was checking out. If you want to park your car at the hotel there is an additional $50 charge which I wasn't made aware of until after booking and paying for the room
