Nice room, and hot breakfast

Breakfast was Stellar. Omelets were delicious.
Room was large, modern, and Clean.
View from the room was spectacular.

It included breakfast that had a lot of options.
Not overly packed
That I got charged roughly $180 for the first night and $300 for the second night. I understand it was Thursday and a Friday night but 120$ difference is quite a bit. And what I given as an amount on my reservation email. I was charged an extra 15 dollars.
Plus I hate that my Mastercard was charged over $600. Then refunded $600 on day of check out to be charged $580 a minute later. A better system needs to be had for $50 extra on a damage fee.

The location, room was quiet & the staff checking me out
The breakfast. The trays were not usable, the eggs sausage were cold, and the toaster did not work. There was another group of four at another table. I heard complaining about the same thing along with the lady not wearing a hairnet and gray straggly hair all over the place.

We had tiny ants in the room- I killed about 6 of them on the desk- gross!

Breakfast was fine. Hotel is not right in Truro but is on the highway toward Halifax which worked for us.

Parking lot wasn’t cleared of snow so had to walk in ankle deep piles to get into car.

very clean hotel, room was clean, spacious and comfortable beds. Breakfast was very good.
The room we had (210) didn’t have curtains that completely closed which meant the parking lot lights disturbed our sleep.

breakfast was excellent, both hot and cold. Location was perect to travel to Musquodaboit in the morning.

I'm not use to having to book with a credit card as I don't have one. Never need one in UK when we traveled. So because it's not written anywhere in booking.com or on site and confirmation etc to have a credit card, I wasn't happy that I had to bother a family member to get one. Also the light shining through the window from the highway. Didn't like that the curtain was half the window and found out the blind was too far up the window that I didn't see it. Bathroom door gives no privacy cause you can see through the gap in the door. Nice idea but not for the bathroom.

Room was spacious and very comfortable, quite modern too. Included breakfast had a nice variety of options and plenty of food. Lots of parking, and easy to get to just off the main highway.
