Room was very comfortable and clean!!
We left at 5 am so unfortunately we couldn't get breakfast, but our previous visit to this hotel breakfast was extremely good!!

Location
It was under construction, if I had known I would not have booked. Half of vending machines didn’t work and 2 of the 3 washing machines didn’t work. The pot smoking in the building was disgusting.

My Family and I Enjoy our stay and We love the Breakfast, pool, Jacuzzi and the Fitness room . Everybody was Pleasant😀

The property is currently undergoing a facelift & is dated - would have preferred a room in the upgraded area! Breakfast could do with more healthy options! Receptionist was not overly enthusiastic, stood picking her back when we checked in!

was a bit dated in the rooms, needed some freshening up. wallpaper peeling, dingy carpet & bathroom. toilet was not totally bolted down so it rocked and made a lot of noise when using.

Waking up having a good breakfast. Hotel location made our trip easier to explore surroundings.
Did not like sleeping on the first floor near lobby. Noisy in hallway late in evening. A big mistake on me

The room could use more lighting. There were no USB ports in the room. The breakfast was a nightmare. Poorly set up and unattractive area (too dark). At 8:30 AM on April 11, 2023 we entered the breakfast area. There were no knives available so we asked the woman on duty for knives. She stated in a nasty tone "I'm all by myself and I can't just go to the store". Poor planning on the part of the hotel should never be the customer's problem. A solution should be found. Clearly the attitude of this employee reflects badly on the Holiday Inn Express brand. Her behavior drove us out and down the road to spend money on breakfast without the attitude.

I booked this place because it had a pool and jacuzzi. The jacuzzi had caution tape around the stairs and the pool was very cloudy. The room they were in was not even warm enough to swim in if they had been working.
I have been to a few different IHGs and this was by far the most unpleasant staff I have experienced in an IHG.
