It was walking distance to the concert
TV didn’t work the whole time we were there. Parking there was horrible! Very confusing with no signs of where you are going. Mold on toilet, pubic hair in shower. Outlets didn’t work. Definitely not worth the money. Marriott didn’t want to fix it. I asked for Corporate number and never got a phone call back.

The room was nice and it was close to attractions in town.
The breakfast restaurant was under a change of location in hotel, the first morning was great the second morning after the move was not all that for the money it cost

Very clean, great location in downtown Charlotte, friendly staff
I thought it was really overpriced for the room. I have been in rooms at a lower price point that had better use of the space and provided a microwave and more drawer space, provided more sets of towel.

Some people on the 9th floor woke me up about 12:30 they were making noise for about a half hour then it stopped

Location to the stadium is the only bright side of our stay.
Parking garage is a nightmare. I already knew we had to pay $45. That’s not the worst part. Garage isn’t clearly marked for lobby or exits. And some exits marked for monthly membership only. News flash… You can’t back up when people are behind you. Then you have to sign up for emails to get the Wi-Fi or pay yet another additional fee. I will never stay at this place again. And it’s not about money.. That’s all greed from these people.

I like the poshness of the hotel. I also enjoyed the staff.
I did not like that our room looked a little worn, it could use a new paint job and a little attention to the grout.

The view was good, and the room was very nice. We were able to walk to dinner and grab a few drinks on the way back which we enjoyed.
The hotel charges guests to park and a lot more than other parking garages around the location charge. We ended up paying an extra $50 in parking and additional fees than what the website said we would. The only thing they offer with the room is use of the gym. Cheaper hotels seem to accommodate more.

Property was ok.
Valet was excellent! Restaurant service, bartender service was awful! Room service phone call was horrific! When I called she’s upset, speaking with someone else and says Jesus. Then she says can you hold. I held on speaker for 10 minutes. That’s when I went downstairs to get a drink and something to eat. I ordered my drink when obviously a friend came up with boxed food. Obviously a friend of his.

Within walking distance and driving distance from where I needed to be. Front desk staff was wonderful extending my check-out time due to a wardrobe malfunction I needed to address.
Some of the gym equipment, ellipticals and Peloton bikes were rusted and needed some TLC.

Wifi was really annoying. Had to reconnect all the time. Wasn’t free by default (have to sign up for a rewards program) and it’s very easy during the many many logins to accidentally press the button to upgrade the wifi quality. Should be high quality for everyone, free without a sign up.

It was clean with a very friendly and welcoming staff, plus the location was convenient for everything that I had to do. But for the price of my stay, I think that they should offer at least a free breakfast.
