Room was nice. Beds and linens were comfortable

We never saw housekeeping. When we needed new towels we had to track someone down to get them. The trash was never emptied. We finally left it outside the door. The whole parking garage setup was a fiasco for us. First we were told to get a ticket from the booth. We had to pay when we left. Next they gave us a validated ticket to use, which didn't work, couldn't get out. They gave us another and that one didn't work. Finally someone came out and used their pass. Lastly the pool was not opened the whole time we were there.

It was close to Pitt which is great

Really pricy. We booked it for the pool but the front desk said it was close for the day for cleaning but then that closure was extended to our entire stay. I ordered a Guinness at the bar and it was a dirty tap. There are a bunch of fees and taxes that amplify the price. The air conditioner gave a terrible headache inducing whine and the air was so dry it gave me a cough. The noise from the floor bled through the door. The pullout bed was an absolute nightmare.

Staff was fantastic! Loved the bistro, and conveinence of everything.

Communication about the onsite restaurant being closed didn’t happen. Parking was tight.

The staff here are super! There is beer and wine and plenty of snacks in the convenience store area by the front desk. Our room was very clean and had a fridge, which was great. It was a convenient location.

The property is undergoing some updates, so there was some construction and there wasn’t a place for breakfast onsite; we walked across the street to a sister Marriott hotel. Our room had coffee stuff but no coffee maker. We found the beds to be a little bit uncomfortable and the HVAC unit blew air right on me all night — if you are in the bed closest to that. Hopefully, the updates continue successfully. There was an extra charge for parking that also raised the rate.

The room was clean. The location is ideal. There is free parking and you can walk to everything. The wifi was great, the room was adequate. The bed was extremely comfortable.

The front desk didn't know how to search rooms or how to do an upgrade. I was told in the description that it would be an option to get a bathtub, but the front desk told me that this wasn't the case. She didn't even know what kinds of room they had available. She was unable to connect me with any other employee who could be helpful. The restaurant/ lounge was closed while I was there.

The staff at was absolutely amazing. We were there because of a family emergency and they were so kind and understanding. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Failed to clean the room after first day. No breakfast. Had to eat at hotel’s restaurant. Garage parking was confusing. Staff did not explain anything.

It was honestly beautiful and very well maintained for the price we paid ! Sad the pool wasn’t open due to contraction but we would absolutely stay again!

The location to Pitts campus cannot be beat. But after checking in we were told the amenities we were expecting- pool, laundry and work-out room, were not functioning because they were in construction mode. Another hotel told us they had a fire... thus the construction. So I felt bad for them, but they should have told us BEFORE we arrived, so we could have made other plans. I was very annoyed. They have since offered me $52. and did a total refund... I think.... so they handled it well, AFTER the fact.

It was false advertising. But the person at the front desk was wonderful and sympathetic, and helpful. Just a bad choice from management ahead of time, in my opinion.

Perfect location and price for an overnight at Pitt. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. Easy walk to everything.

Hotel was under construction and looked like it needed it. My room was dark, dated, but functional. But 100% met my needs at a reasonable price.

Not sure if this is a property issue or a bookings issue. Paid for a deluxe room for 5 and got a regular room with 2 queen beds. No extra pullout for the fifth person.

The location is very good and the place is very clean and comfortable to stay in.

The bed spread wasn’t the greatest maybe a nicer comforter. Still sufficed.

They took a 50$ security deposit. And never refunded it. When I called to ask about it they said the 50$ was for parking? 50$ to park for one night? Completely unacceptable! And they said that was a security deposit for the room, not a charge to park. They should have disclosed that better. I expect someone to reach out and refund my 50$. I’ve parked overnight in Pittsburgh many times, and never paid more than 10 or 15$ to do so. This will not be the only negative review I will post. This establishment will never receive any business from us again.

Desk employee was phenomenal, made the entire stay amazing.

Room was very comfortable for two friends. Two queen beds. Enough room to unpack, not be on top of one another. Wyndham still provides amenties such as a BATH MAT in the bathroom- great! and soap and decent towels. Climate controls worked well (I always hope for a window that opens, but not a usual feature of any modern hotel).

Personal preference: foam mattresses (even with a mattress pad, which these beds had) make sleep too warm for many of us. Only recourse is to run AC all night. Our one meal in the hotel was pretty mediocre, except for the pierogi appetizers, which were great. Wine and cocktails not good, either, sadly.

Room key cards did not work and had to return them 2 times. We had requested a refrigerator and it did not come until hours before we left and our food spoiled.

Elevators were annoying. You had to swipe your room key to access rooms above the mezzanine and half the time I didn't have my card so had to wait around until someone else entered the elevator. No security if it is this easy to access floors above 2.

No microwave or refrigerator. That should not be a upgrade to have. Charged 4 times for parking when it should have been 2days. Now I have to find out why I was charged and I want my money back.
