The bathtub would will with water and take forever to drain, I asked them to fix it while we where out and it never was fixed. The carpets where also stained a lot

Our booking included breakfast, and it was really nice to have one meal sorted out each day and nice that it wasn’t just a cold continental breakfast. The location is really convenient to get around from - a short walk and quick train ride to downtown and an easy bus ride to Cambridge. All of the staff members that we dealt with were very friendly.

Since the area this is in requires a lifeguard for hotel pools, the pool hours were really limited and meant that any time we actually would’ve liked to use it, it wasn’t open. I also really didn’t care for the bedding (a top sheet and two thin blankets); I’m used to a duvet and felt like having three things on the bed just ended up being a tangled mess.

False fire evaluation at 5am, but that was out of the facilities control.

The property is located near the train which is great for going right into downtown Boston. it is a 10 min ride. The game room is nice for the kids especially when it was raining.

I think the property’s rugs either need conditioning or replacement. There was an old musty smell. I didn’t like that the shuttle was down my entire stay. The restaurant was not opened Saturday evening as the menu stated. They said it will close early Friday based on traffic this is an inconvenience.

The room which was given to us when we checked in had no cold water at the basin. We requested the hotel receptionist to send someone up to check but after struggling a while, the technician informed the receptionist that the cold water issue cannot be fixed. I was surprised that this issue was not know before we check in. The receptionist has not choice but to change us to another room. Then we found out that the new room we were given has a faulty hair dryer and dirty carpet. We requested twice for a working Hair dryer and the carpet to be vacuum by housekeeping with the receptionist before we leave the room the next morning before we went out the next morning and we were told it will be done. However, to our absolute disappointment, when we came back to the room after a tiring day out in the evening, there were no Hair dryer given and the carpet was as dirty as before. The bed are also not being made too. This is a great disappointment as IHG hotel chain is suppose to have a minimum quality and service standard for it guests.

it smelled awful in the hallway. people tried getting into my room multiple times during the middle of the night. we could hear people speaking loudly and the tv all night.

95% of staff that I encountered was rude for no reason. We tried checking in early. We had to wait 10+ minutes for anyone to show up at the front desk. They couldn't accommodate an early check in. Fine, no problem. But be polite at least. And then when I returned at night, I had to wait again for someone to show up to the front desk, and this person was also rude for no reason. I just wanted to check in and go to my room. No need to be nasty. You're in the Hospitality business. Be hospitable! Also, the elevators reeked of marijuana.

The room was comfortable.

The air was constantly blowing even when I tried to turn it off. I was told to pay for my breakfast when I thought it was included in my stay. There were no signs saying there was a fee for the (what looked like) a continental breakfast. I would not have paid the price for the one scoop of eggs I got. Very disappointed.
