The rooms, entry way and breakfast area were very clean and neat. Well done to staff.

Clean hotel with comfortable beds

Staff was very rude. I asked for a late check out and was granted this by not 1 but 2 staff. When checkout day came the staff that was on told me that there were no late checkouts and that we would have to vacate the room immediately. The man at the front desk even called my room at 1105 while I was in conference and told my wife to pack up and leave the facility by 1130. I will never recommend this facility until they get nicer staff. If all Holiday Inns run like this then I don't recommend their facilities at all.

It appeared clean and was a convenient location for our travels. The beds were comfortable.

It is located in a crappy area of KC. There were several homeless folks around (a nearby church pays for them to stay at this hotel) and our car was broken into, with several items lost to theft. the hotel employees were less then helpful.

Facility was clean and relatively modern.

Mattress was not comfortable. I could feel the bed springs even through all the coverings on the bed. In addition, we were unable to adjust the blinds in the room so we had to put up with the glare from the outside lights all night. In addition, breakfast was really disappointing. The egg omelette things were good, but the biscuits were doughy inside, the gravy was low-quality canned gravy, and the sausage patties were so tough I needed a knife to cut them. There also wasn't any light yogurt options available. I'm diabetic and one of the reasons I chose this location was that they served an "American breakfast",but for what was served, I should have stayed at a cheaper motel and paid for breakfast somewhere else.
