I liked the location.
The bed had blood stains on the sheets. The front desk clerk, James, was rude. Im a cancer patient, and he refused to look for the voucher my doctors office sent over to cover our room. I paid for the room. Housewife tried to make my grandson change the bedding himself. I called the front desk, and the clerk Tynisha, who was very sweet, sent the housekeeper back up, and he was rude and haphazardly made the bed. For a 200.00 a night room, one would expect a clean room and at minium a continental breakfast. Not to mention, I'm disabled and to walk about 3/4 of a blook due to the parking lot at the hotel being closed down by the city of Des Moines. I will never stay at this hotel again and will ask sure my friends and family know how bad it is. I will also be contacting the corporate office tomorrow, 10/25/24. Our stay was 10/24/24.

Got there @ 3:00 for check in, as expected it was busy as that time is designated check in. Probably a good Idea to have 2 or 3 employees @ the front desk then rather than 1.

The location is nice and having a shuttle available was great.
Our room was so warm, the air didn't work. Nor did the TV. The front desk staff were pretty short with me when trying to figure out an issue with the booking.

Very convenient for hospital guests. The emoyees in the restaurant were very nice.
Room was right by the highway. Lots of traffic noise. The air conditioner was loud and blowed on the person in the bed. You can't move the vent. Two of the three days we were there, the coffee pots in the lobby were empty. We had to go to the restaurant to get coffee. There are no signs up to show your way to the gym or pool.

Staff was rude when asked a question, in the morning there was no coffee down there in the lobby something was said to the gentleman behind the desk about it by another guest and he said that wasn't his problem. I was supposed to get free breakfast coupons that I did not get when I checked in when I asked about it I was told that it wasn't his mistake.

Close to the Hy-Vee center. Rooms were clean . Staff was awsome
Parking was bad. We had to park in the garage. When we left in the morning our vehicle has concrete dust and small pieces all over the hood and roof from the ceiling of the garage. This was very concerning. They need to redo the structure.

I really liked the location--it was close to everywhere I needed to go. I also thought the room was cleaned to an appropriate standard.
Breakfast should be included, period. The breakfast offered is akin to any other hotel that serves breakfast. It would have also been nice if the hotel had a little store to buy personal items, toiletries and snacks. Lastly, while the rooms are clean and will suffice, a renovation would improve the overall quality and experience.

we were able to turn the ac on and our room was extremely hot. there was a sign that wouldn’t allow ac to be on in winter months and heat couldn’t be on during summer months. I get maybe it helps saves them money but if I’m paying that much for a room I don’t want to be sweating all night and would like to have the option to make my room a little cooler
