Nice staff except for one. The woman who checked us in was very nice and helpful.

The towels were threadbare and some stained. It’s not a shabby place but the carpet and towels need replaced.

Comfy beds! ,They cleaned our rooms every day and made the beds; they placed fresh towels and soap in the bathroom, Breakfast was great with eggs, sausage, oatmeal, waffles, etc! I was especially happy that the hot water for tea was actually hot and not lukewarm. Well done!

Just needs a little freshening and lightening up - the paint, carpets, rooms - the bathtub in my room has rust around the fixtures. Walls are a bit thin, too, and sometimes a bit noisy but not too bad.

Breakfast was ok. Coffee was good.

Had to have both room keys "rekeyed". Then in the afternoon, a gentlemen used a key to walk into our room. Apparently they gave him our room. Also, complimentary toiletry bottle was half used. There was also a mixup at check in, but that may have been booking.com's fault. I'm not sure....both hotel and booking.com rep blamed the other.

Convenience

Because their systems were down, from a storm, 2 days prior, could not check in, had no internet nor TV. Could not check in and was told that they would use Credit Card on file. Had to manually find a room to accommodate both my wife and myself. The GM even stated, that because of this inconvenience, that she was going to "apply a discount" because of this. My Wife and I were very flexible and would take any room that they could provide (turned out to be a handicap room). We had a 2 night stay, during which there was no internet nor TV. We could not even check out, when we departed on Sunday(5/19). We finally were billed on our Credit Card, today(6/3), and there was no discount as stated by the GM of this property. We are not asking for any refund, this is about the principle, when someone of authority states something they will do and then don't do it, is not proper business. We visit Midland often, for my Wife's sisters family lives in Midland. For future visits, we will plan to stay at another Hotel Respectfully yours Richard Holmes El Paso, Tx

All was excellent, except the Internet was down my entire stay. I would like to have had waffles or biscuits available for breakfast. The rolls and juices were good.
