This is an exceptional facility, still in its original 90's style but quite well maintained. Room was very clean, bed comfortable. What makes it exceptional? Large room, walk areas nearly twice the width of comparable hotels, a bathroom large enough for two people to move about. The bathroom still sports a real door with garment hooks on the inside--not the faddish, clumsy sliding barn door with no hooks for your clothing. Our King suite included a sitting area with writing desk. TV pivots toward sitting area or to the bed. Refrigerator included a small freezer (often not offered). All in all, very comfortable stay. And staff was very pleasant and accommodating.

Breakfast could be improved. Short offerings in fruit; omelet was cold in the center. Positives include the usual sausage, waffles, pastries, beverages, etc.

Breakfast had good variety and was ample. Staff was very nice and efficient. Room and bed were comfortable and room was very clean.

A little more attention to the corners of bathroom with some paint would have helped it not look too aging

The quality and cleanliness of the propertiy did not meet expectations or the information featured online. The room was directly across from the elevator which impacts privacy and noise. Also room was across from storage room. The door was open and it was clear to see it was not clean. The room had a MUSTY smell that was awful. I wasn't comfortable at all but didn't have a choice and had to stay because refund was not an option. If we were aware beforehand of the quality of this property this would not have been a choice. We went to the manager on duty to discuss our concerns. She was very short and quite rude with her approach and response. She was not helpful or accommodating at all. We tried to let her know this concerns were not personal for her. She continued to be disrespectful. The time at the hotel was awful.

The pool is still closed and breakfast options still limited. Time to bring those back.

Nice location

I booked the hotel for a couple days and was in Toledo to take my nursing boards. The staff was great by moving my room to the 3rd floor so I can study. However, I ended up having to switch rooms at 1am because a family was arguing for hours through the night. When I was moved, my new room did not have a fridge or a microwave for my drinks and food. Needless to say I didn’t get the sleep I was hoping for before the biggest exam of my life.

Location is great and has healthier choices of food very close by like Panera and Starbucks. I did not like the room without a fridge or microwave. I prefer to eat healthier and less out. But I was forced to do so the day of my exam.

Easy to get to, starbucks nextdoor.

The covid breakfast was underwhelming. But maybe that's the standard at fairfields and I'm used to pre covid residence in breakfast buffets. Side door was broken to get back in the building.
