The staff was not super pleasant to us, we asked to use a different credit card because of the exchange rate and they had already automatically charged my card. They said they would reverse it when we checked out however the staff member did not give us a chance to say we wanted to reverse the card before pushing the amount through. I ended up having to get a temporary credit increase just to be able to afford food because my credit card was the only source of money I had. Not pleased with the lack of accommodation they offered.

The hotel and our room were clean, and even smelled good. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was well appointed with a microwave, mini fridge , ironing board and iron, hairdryer. The tv was a good size and had many channels. The breakfast was even better than expected, with a wide variety of items. Housekeeping came in the two mornings we were out and made the bed and cleaned the room. My husband and I would recommend this Best Western to travelers to Nashville. Reasonably priced. The location was great as we did attend a Grand Ole Opry performance and it was a 5 minute drive away. A huge shopping mall is right next to the Grand Ole Opry.

5 vehicles were broken into( my son’s being one) and hotel didn’t have good cameras. when asked if they would have better security next night, my son was told if you feel safer you could sleep in your car!!!

The location of the highway was good. Located near Opry mills mall

TV feed was down the entire time we were there and never able to really watch TV in the moments that we had downtime at the hotel. We were there for a wedding and multiple events throughout days and they were often times to rest at the hotel, and couldn’t watch movies, or cable shows during the downtimes. The front desk said it was a cable problem to the hotel, but we were there three nights, and it never got resolved before we left. Disappointing. We also were put in a room on the first floor that had multiple issues in the room and they moved us to our room to the second floor which was very nice.

When we got there, there was some weird creepy cultish group in the lobby singing at midnight. That was a red flag, but we were tired and decided to try to just ignore and go to bed. When we got to the room, there were roaches everywhere - to the point that we ended up leaving and driving through the night rather than staying. we saw at least 30 roaches in that short time, and having one crawl up my leg in the bed was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I almost forgot to mention how filthy the room was in and of itself, which I would have ignored if the roaches weren’t trying to carry my wife and I away to their freaking lair. We were in the room 15 minutes before the decision to leave was made and the hotel staff refused to refund us or even offer to move us to another room. We ended up not getting home until 5am, which was great because we couldn’t even rest until we had put every single bit of laundry in the wash to make sure we didn’t have roaches or eggs on our cloths. When it was business hours, I tried calling the manager who basically told me to go F myself. we’ve always stayed at best westerns (business and leisure), but this one location cost best western our business on a moving forward basis. I’m also going to do my best to discourage my company (Fortune 300 company that spends a lot of money on travel) from doing business with them moving forward. I can’t tell you how pissed I am that the room was over $200 for one night and we were only there for 15 minutes.
