The hotel was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful once we arrived to the location. There was some confusion with changing our check-in date.
There is a disconnect between booking.com and the hotel. I needed to change the check-in date for my booking from April 12th to April 13th. I sent a message to the property through the app. However the property has 48 hours to respond. My check-in date was for the next day so I couldn't wait 48 hours for them to respond. I tried the messaging option for customer service. The app was not working correctly. I called the hotel per the guidance on the app (twice). The staff said they could not find my reservation the first time I since the reservation was through booking.com that I needed to call their customer service. I called a second time because I could not find a number for booking.com. I explained that I was trying to change mt check-in date, that I could not locate an 800 number for booking.com on booking.com's website, and I asked to speak to a manager to see if they could help thinking maybe they would be more helpful than the person who answered the phone. The manager would not come to the phone. The message relayed to me was call booking.com.
Ok. Booking.com. You guys need to make your customer service phone number more accessible on your app. I could not find it. The chat was not working. I was at my wits end trying to get help from the hotel staff.
Thanks to Google I was able to find an 800 number for your customer service. I spoke with a very helpful agent who contacted the hotel and got permission from the hotel to change the check-in date.
All is well. Right?

We arrive at the hotel on our new check-in date of April 13th. The hotel doesn't have a changed reservation for us. They explained that booking.com never sent them the new reservation information. I showed them the confirmed changed reservation on my phone. However. They said they still didn't have it in their system. They updated their system and our reservation was then reflected in their system.
This was too much to go through. . .

The 24-hour coffee and tea bar was a nice touch, but the breakfast was the real star of the show. Not only was the food hot and fresh, but it was open until 10 a.m., which was great.
Unfortunately, everything that I didn't like about our stay had to do with the room itself. First, the bathroom has a shower with only half of a wall. There is no curtain or door to speak of, just a transparent glass wall that is about half the length of the shower. Also, the bathroom door doesn't lock. This is because it shares a door with the closet outside. Slide to the right, and the bathroom is "closed," slide to the left, and congratulations, your closet is closed.
Next comes the bed. Ours was extremely broken to the point of it being scary to roll over and turn off the light. It was very unstable, and every little movement caused the whole thing to groan like an aging Ent.
Lastly, the TV. It was honestly the worst TV you could possibly purchase, even when it first came out 15 years ago. Terrible picture, worse sound, and zero smart capabilities. It honestly felt like I was staying in a motel circa 1997 at times, but hey, it had HBO...

Breakfast was ok, staff was helpful
First room had black mold in the shower, wet spot in the room carpet, had tp change rooms. TV had black lines in the screen, TV guide was unavailable. Hall carpet was filthy and stained.

The staff accommodated my request for a late checkout. The free breakfast has lots of variety. Without a car of our own, we were able to walk to get fet food nearby and even catch a movie.
My partner and I both work remotely and needed an additional chair for the second desk in the room. A request for an additional desk chair exposed a furniture scarcity at the hotel.

Bed was broken. Room was dirty. there was no notice of the severe construction occuring outside. my room was within eye sight of the construction workers and i was extremely uncomfortable. TV did not work either.

Clean, modern decor, great breakfast, staff were supremely friendly and helpful. Too tired to use the pool but it looked very inviting. The best Hampton Inn I've stayed at!
The mattress coils were evident when I turned over at night. A denser and firmer mattress would be recommended.
Mirrors in the room and bathroom were a little too glitzy! Subtle elegance, like the rest of the space, would enhance the overall effect!
The bedside USB port did not work in my room.

The location was great, the front desk clerk Catherine was very nice. Room was great. Breakfast was good. The frittata was not the best choice of eggs (peppers are not for everyone). The breakfast person was rude! Checkout was good and the young lady was very nice.

As we walked into the front desk. We were greeted by Sandy a lovely lady who was a pleasure. She gave us brochures of the area including a list of restaurants near by. Later that day we had the pleasure meeting Catherine she is a wonderful lady who gave us alot of information about the area, very friendly and always with a beautiful smile. She was very accommodating and made us feel like home and for that we are very thankful. We are definitely coming back.

Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Very practical when travelling with a family and dogs as there are lots of amenities in site.
The beds unfortunately are impossible to sleep on. The air unit in the room is incredibly noisy.

I booked a handicapped room and the room itself worked fine for me. However it was at the farthest point fro the elevators making the walk very difficult. On check-out I talked with Yanki at the desk and she assured me that there is a first floor handicapped room with the ability to park right next the the door by the room. She gave me her card to call her directly and she would help me next time.. Also, we dropped an item that rolled under the bed or chair and we are old and can't get to the floor. We found Josh near our room and he joyfully helps retreive the item for us. He was polite and friendly....an excellent employee!
The property is just a bit worn and "dated". But it was clean and the bed was comfortable.
