It appears that there was some construction being done in the main lobby. Not a major deal

Staff was friendly and attentive. Location was perfect for us.

People on the next room were extremely noisy walls seemed thin so noise was bad. Halls smelled like pot which was not enjoyable.

On Saturday Night there was aurging outside our door the next morning the neighbors next door woke us up with loud talking

Check in was horrible lady at the front was rude and had us wait 20 mins before given a key due to complications on their end… It was a odor soon as we got off the elevator on the 6th floor

I liked the ambiance in the lobby, the room size, and the view of Uptown. The bed was also very comfy. Some days the team greeted guests as we exited and entered and some days they did not. Great proximity to city center and restaurants in Uptown. Just a short 7-10 minute walk.

The room was not properly cleaned before I arrived. So I could get comfy and prepare for my planned activities, I performed a thorough cleaning myself and informed the staff. My carpet in my room had several wet spots near the AC. Didn’t realize it until my socks were soaked. There was no water for a couple of hours when I arrived. The location was weird as the center it was located in, it seemed a bit abandoned with the exception of a store and a couple of restaurants in the back. I ordered food from the bar at the hotel: Disappointing. The bar tender was not a people’s person, I felt like I was disturbing him. One of the two elevators was broke so we shared with the housekeeping team. This created a longer wait.

Breakfast was not what we expected I would of never added to my room…they served no pancakes or waffles…parking was not good for $30 a day and If you leave you gotta pay more getting another ticket coming back $30 should of been good for whole 24 hours

Lobby very dirty. Cloth couches very dirty. Remote in room did not work and they had no batteries to replace. Coffee maker didn’t work. No daily cleaning unless you pay. Parking listed is not free it’s $30 per day. Staff very unfriendly.

The location, location, and location was the best thing about this hotel. It’s in the heart of Uptown (downtown) Charlotte. The room was very nice and the bed/pillows were so comfortable. The staff were super friendly. I will stay here again if I visit.

When we arrived at 5 pm our room was still not ready, front desk person was very aloof and said complain about it to Marriott because there is nothing I can do about it. Noisy people all the way to 5 am, when they were hitting our door and yelling in the halls.

Had the thermostat set to 70 and it was 80 degrees the whole time and got hotter as the night went on.
