Despite a recent room renovation, our 1 bedroom garden view suite felt dated, dirty, and was missing items like bathrobes and a safe. The phone in the bedroom was old and broken and the tv didn’t work properly. The carpet had dead leaves scattered around and had not been thoroughly vacuumed. The central air conditioning was broken and made loud noises every 5-10 minutes, keeping us up the entire night and triggering an allergy attack for me and my son. The hotel transferred us to a cleaner room the second night of our stay (golf course view) and it didn’t have the problems the first room did, but we had to downgrade our room size to standard in order to transfer. The pool area smelled like sewage from a malfunctioning fountain and the whole experience was subpar, felt gross, and quite frankly- not worth the drive to the desert. One positive is that they recently added two huge water slides that were a hit for our son and the other families we traveled with, but the pool was super crowded, music was blasting and it felt absolutely chaotic. Not worth it to us to ever come back to this property again.

Room facilities were v poor. No tea, no stirrers. Phone out of order - sign inviting one to text for room service. Absolutely no response at all. Asked a staff member outside our room for a teaspoon - was told to get it myself at the front desk. Requested cleaning staff to service room at 9:30am as my partner was not well. She knocked on the door at 5:15pm. I expect better from Westin!!!

Wonderful location, golfing, dining, pool area and hot tub. The room was spacious and luxurious. We had a great experience with the resort and look forward to visiting again.
