The staff were very nice and helpful
The room was dirty. Tons of dust under the bed. Bathroom had peeling paint. The pool was dirty and not open at 9am as indicated. The hours of the pool were not posted anywhere. The food at the restaurant was bad with a spinach omelette with sweet onion jam on the inside that was weird, fish tacos that tasted off and poached eggs swimming in water. Not to mention the prices at restaurant were crazy expensive.

Stay and the view from the room
Transportation to airport , I had a bad experience, waited more than an hour to get the Marriot shuttle after getting down from flight.

Location
Booking was for 3 person, but it it did not have a way of accommodate sleeping for more than 2 person. 3rd person slept on the floor.

The wi-fi only worked in my laptop but not our phone. I had to hotspot my laptop to use our phones which is very important.

No free wifi, for the price of the stay, wifi should have been included. was given a 1 bed room at first even though I specifically booked a 2 bed. Elevators were small and cramped, could barely fit the luggage cart, no free breakfast option, yet no fridge in room. Outlets in the room didn't work. Rooms numbered weirdly so our dinner was delivered to the wrong room. Overpriced.

The bed was very clean, and i was happy there were both a gym and a pool.
The staff were really nice, welcoming and good. Answered any issue i had.
The hotel was old, not kept well, and needs a facelift.
The furnishing of my room were very old, not something you would expect in a hotel in 2023.
I was happy there was a gym, but the equipment was old and many items didn't work. It was also very hot and there was no AC control.
I went to the pool as well, which looked like it could be fun, but it was quite dirty, and the floor of the pool was either not kept, falling apartment and definitely not clean.

smelled like cigarettes in the hallways and the room. I did not stay and I was not refunded. it was the worst experience ever, I’ve never been to a Marriott that looked that old and not clean.

i think for a Marriott brand it could do with a bit of touch up cosmetic wise to make it look more presentable especially when getting to the rooms and corridors and stairways

The room was clean. The beds were very comfortable. The shower was nice and hot. Front desk staff was helpful, friendly and polite. The room we had booked wasn't available upon check in, and we were 1)promptly informed and 2) given the option to change rooms at no charge or 3) wait for our selected room to be ready. I opted to change, and it was hassel free. The breakfast sandwich was amazing. Maintenence who came to fix our TV was also very nice. Proximity to both our friend's apartment and the airport was awesome stroke of luck. View over the pool.was pleasant.
The pool was cold and not heated, so we couldn't go swimming. The pool was the ONLY reason I selected this hotel over others ( the indoor/outdoor and the architecture of the pool area was one of my favorite things about this place).Also they filled in the hot tubs to make planters, but the signage was still up. I had been looking forward to both. So that was a bummer. The price of coffee in the restaurant was outrageous ($7!!) And when the bartender made my husband's firat drink wrong, they wanted to charge him for the second one, which is not the best customer service.

Bed was hard as a board, room was very small especially the bathroom. Luggage cart wasn't available upon arrival. Can hear everything. False advertisement: no 24 hr room service and pool was not heated. Very overpriced.
