Loved having two separate rooms to share with friends! Also appreciated how close it is to the highway to get downtown. The staff was also friendly.
I wish it were a bit cleaner. It wasn't dirty, but we had some tissues in the bottom of our kitchen sink, and the bathroom was a bit dirty. Something was also wrong with the AC in our bedroom, and it got to 75+ degrees overnight.

HORRIBLE!!!
THEY CHARGED A $76 fee after for my pet after I left which they never mentioned. Pool doesn’t work. HORRIBLE! Prostitution, cops there everyday. NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY!!

It was clean and very comfortable.
I didn’t plan to use it, but the pool was closed. I’m not sure why. There didn’t seem to be any notice that it would be closed. It might be off-putting for those planning to go for a swim.

Horrible extremely dirty and had blood stains. Couch had blood all over it and would not refund the money.

Used to stay here when it was Marriott but it had gotten so dirty with stains on carpet/furniture & they didn’t always have extra towels plus the cost was too much for the condition. So now that it’s MainStay I decided to try again as I saw the carpet/furniture & assume mattresses were new. It is a very nice hotel in a great location for going to Cleveland Clinic. The rooms are all nicely laid out…especially the 2 bedroom suites when traveling with others.
The night clerk was VERY nice & made up for the General manager on duty when we checked in!
Very disappointed with the General manager who had NO personality & was rude to my friend who simply asked if he would use her Choice hotel rewards & he first said yes but because I prepaid he said he wouldn’t because it wasn’t my rewards account!! He didn’t offer me to join until my friend asked.
Then said I had to come back before he would apply the stay after I confirmed the email that didn’t arrive until an hour later. The night clerk was there when I went back & he said it could’ve been done the first time I was there plus he would have used my friends account…he was very nice & had a very helpful & friendly attitude! After all we weren’t asking for a free room, just the rewards go to her account!
Also disappointed to find out even though it’s still advertised both on Booking.com & their own website that they have a complimentary breakfast with signs both in the lobby as well as the little dining room he told us they do not serve a breakfast. And this was after Memorial Day but the pool was not only not open it was very dirty around the pool area with weeds growing through the cement that were a foot tall so obviously has not been cared for. Sad for the price it has these issues!

The outside tables were nice.
The sofa bed was horrible, completely uncomfortable and had to get our own air mattress. Our bathtub leaked into the room below us and they made us go down the hall to another room to finish our showers after making me stop my shower half way through. Showed them the tub was taped up and they blamed us. Staff was very rude.

I didnt like that I came to check in and spray it with Lysol. I left back out to allow for it to dry. I opened all the doors inside, but when I returned they were shut again which means someone entered the room again. I also noti.ced that it sounded like everytimw we left out someone in the unit next door was at the peephole looking out at us. This was very creepy to me. .Other than that the stay was a pleasant one.

Room was dirty~bedding was stained. Under pull out couch & under beds weren’t vacuumed which resulted in ants being present. Had to switch rooms. Property needs to be updated. Will not stay there again.

the room was a suite with 2 separate bedrooms, a living room, bathroom, and small kitchenette. the mattresses were comfortable.
it was very dirty. initially it didn’t look too bad, but we really didn’t spend much time in the room, as I was in Cleveland for a wedding. but I woke up the next day with about 12 bites on one foot and was pretty freaked out. I had checked for bed bugs, as I always do, before setting my stuff down the first day. I never did see any bugs, however, in my more thorough search - under beds, behind bed, behind dresser and beside table, I found socks, hats, lottery tickets, old water bottles, coke bottles, clothes, etc. this made it very clear just how dirty the room was.
we checked under the bed in the other bedroom and found similar items.
I went to the lobby and spoke with the general manager and about 3 other staff members who were standing there, showed them the bites on my foot, and the condition of the room. The general manager immediately apologized and said he could move us to a new room in a different building. I asked if I could check the room before moving our stuff over.
I checked the new room, found socks, a few dead bugs, a random long construction nail by the bed. I checked the mattresses and again didn’t see any bed bugs, but it was also bright with sunlight coming through the windows.
At that point,I just knew we needed to go. I felt very uncomfortable, knew I wouldn’t be able to sleep there tonight, and the bites on my foot were bad.
I went back down to the lobby and said we were going to leave. The manager apologized again and said they would issue a refund. I booked through booking.com, so I needed to contact booking.com and then booking.com would contact the hotel about a refund.
After switching hotels, and returning from our weekend away for a wedding, I called booking.com. they tried calling 3 times and the hotel didn’t answer. Booking.com let me know their plan to contact the hotel and get back with me, assuring it would be made right.

The front desk person was friendly however had to go down 3 times to ask for 2 light bulbs. Hotel in bad need of updating. What repairs were done looked awful. Hair in bed. Dirt in tub, dirty cookware etc. Would not stay here again. Plus they charge 100.00 extra for damage deposit. Was told it would come back off. We are 63 really do you think we would cause damage? It felt like an insult. Breakfast was advertised as hot. It was not even out when we went down. Found out at desk they don't do hot buffet even.

The price is great, but you get what you pay for. Also the location is excellent: very close to the airport and freeway with many options for dining and fun. Staff was friendly.
The security sucks. Please fix the outside doors so that they can only be entered by using a key card.
The breakfast is lacking, but at this price point, I would expect that. However, it is listed as a "buffet" which is definite hyperbole.
I chose this place because there was a kitchen. There are exactly two forks, knives, spoons, bowls, plates, coffee cups in the kitchen even though I booked a room for three people. The only dishwashing soap is for the dishwasher (one tab). I bought my own dish soap so I could hand wash as needed because I don't want to run the dishwasher every five minutes. All of the pans were dirty when I pulled them out of the cabinet and there was a dirty plate in the dishwasher. :( The freezer never froze and the refridge was turned way down when I got there.
The pool is closed so it might be a good idea to remove it from the listing.
I think I will pay more next time and stay somewhere else.
