club lounge could be better maintained

the bathroom was dirty with mold/mildew. the TV was small, there were no amenities. the breakfast restaurant had very mediocre food and was extremely slow. It took almost an hour to get our eggs. the Starbucks on property had long lines and then closed at 3:00, just before we returned each day hoping for a pick-me-up. there were not enough towels, the towels were torn, and a small size.

Hartford is sketchy

this is my second stay at this hotel, very comfortable and easy access to the convention center next door. as well having a Starbucks coffee shop in the hotel too. Will stay again every time I visit.

I loved how it was connected to the convention center with easy access!

I wish the beds were queen sized instead of double, but nothing negative to report otherwise.

I like the pool on the top floor, the hot tub, the lobby everything was clean. we liked it

hotel guests shouldn’t have to park so far and and tip of that pay for it. that we didn’t like and for that reason I would choose another hotel next time. also I reserved my room on booking.com at one rate $265 for one night, that’s including taxes and fees…but when I paid at the hotel my card was changed $308 . I don’t know what happened but I want a refund

Room was clean and comfortable, Restaurant food was excellent. WiFi was good as well. Service technicians for the TV came and helped as well as they could. Having Starbucks in the hotel was an added bonus. The downtown location was close to the train station, other restaurants, and the art museum.

TV did not work. The first night it would not shut off so someone came and helped. The next day the sound did not work and they came again. The next day, we had more TV problems, and again the technician helped us.

A large weekend group hogged all the facilities, impossible lines to even get Starbucks in the morning. we booked to break up the journey for the pool and the pool was incredibly overcrowded by 30 kids plus their parents to the point where I’m not sure it was safe. housekeeping put fresh towels by the pool in the morning but didn’t clean at all it was disgusting both the water and around the pool, hair and band aids in the pool and food on the floor around the side, just gross. I mentioned to the front desk and they were amazingly responsive. Its a shame as the pool in this property is on the top floor with incredible views, and should have be the highlight. Hopefully bad luck and just a one off!

The Marriott Downtown hotel was very clean and the location could not have been better! The staff was was friendly and helpful. It was just a short walk to Arch Street Tavern, the reason for our the visit to Hartford! The bed was was very comfortable and the ample amenities did not disappoint!

Rooms was clean and staff was friendly. L bar in lobby was great. Sandy our bar tender Friday/Saturday was awesome. Loved her!!!!
