Location was central to many of the sights and sites we wanted to visit. The beds and room were comfortable.

The breakfast was not good. The oatmeal was watery and not fresh looking. The vegetarian sausage smelled like dog food and could not be eaten, the pork sausage seemed undercooked. Our first morning, the coffee tasted like sour water had been used. We travel frequently are usually find hotel breakfast to be a pleasant surprise, so this was an unpleasant shock. When I brought it up to the manager, she explained that the kitchen was small and explained the days that food gets ordered, but no apology was offered. The breakfast hostess was grumpy and not at all welcoming of questions from myself or other guests during the morning service. On the subsequent mornings, we just got the juices and coffee for the “complimentary breakfast.” The eggs were also not good. In the room, mildew was on the bathroom ceiling. This was also shocking for what seemed like a fairly new building. I noted too that a couple was offered water upon check in; however, I had not been offered water on check-in. My family has traveled quite a bit internationally and domestically, so I feel our expectations post-COVID are fair for the money we are spending.
